Tent price was 500 per person and food starts from 100/- again it depends wot you want to order
Also, there was rooms available on the Triund top starting from rs. 1000 onwards!

Running shoes should work to trek in the Triund! But, please make sure to have snow boots or shoes for trekking during winter 🏔️❄️
Hi Anjali, I wanted to ask how safe it is for women staying overnight in a tent and does one have to carry their own sleeping bag or will it be provided with the tents? How did you use the loo at the top? I know it’s all in the open, how’d you manage?

It is completely safe to stay overnight in the tent, and you will be provided tent facilities with sleeping bags & blankets.
There was the corner in the distant specified for toiletries purposes, it's open but no one was around that place.. ik it would be weird n uncomfortable. but take any person with you for being alarmed what I would suggest.
Can we get the tent on the top.. Or do we have to prebook from mcleodganj
Hey, there! Both options are available, if it's not peak season then you can easily get the tent n camp facilities on the top, otherwise you can always prebook from Mcleodganj 😄

They charged INR 500-600 during that year. I'm not sure about recent quotes.
I booked on the top itself, you will easily get the tents during summer. No pre-booking is required. I hope this helps🤗
From which point did you start trekking? There are at least 2 ways which I am aware of - One from dharamkot and one from bhagsunag waterfall.

Nope it's not compulsory to take a guide, I started without guide only coz we have really sign board or path maintained properly for Triund trek direction. And carry yourself snacks and since it's peak time so you can book for your tent in Mcleodganj Mall road at any travel agency in advance. Rest..everything is smooth only. 😄

I trekked in the month of April! For the next 3 months, it will be completely covered with snow. So, it depends on you! If you want to experience the amalgamation of the green valley & snow, then I'll suggest you to visit during feb-may. I hope this helps 😊

Hey, Harsh! You can start the trek from Mcleodganj itself, or take a auto/cab( max rs.200) till Dharamkot chowk and then there start for trekking to Triund! Camp expenses are not too much.. INR 500 per person for camp night stay including blanket and sleeping bag, and food depends wot you're going to have! Jyada se jyada 150-200 I'll say for food.

Yes we can setup our own camp at Triund, for snow line first we need to check accordingly weather coz there we may be not permitted since snowfall already started. Again, it depends locally.

It took me around 5 hours to reach there, also I was filming around.. do can say additional an hour for that.. But, however.. Triund is 4 hours from Mcleodganj! And 2-3 hours while stepping down😄⛰️

Yep I can share one contact number: Sunil bhaiya' 9736554692. You can reach out to him to pre book tents at Triund Top. Anyways, you'll be getting multiple travel agencies in the Mcleodganj mall Road or Dharamkot to arrange the tents. You just need to check with them a day before. 😄

there are 2 ways:
1. triune check point in Gallu (formal starting point)
2. bhagsu side
in the video Anjali goes to Gallu checkpoint from Dharmkot to start the trek, which is also the formal/longer route.
