Am an healthy 31 year old guy. 2 years ago my cholesterol was 5.1 and 6 month ago it was measured again, this time 8.1. My doctor put me on statins, I'm reluctantly taking them. It may be placebo but I feel much more sore after workouts, other than that no adverse effects.
Even though I find the above evidence in the video very sound and the guy very educated and trustworthy. I still feel so brainwashed by the Danish/international/AHA/WHO recommendations... Whatever I do I'm so concerned I will ruin my health. I guess I should look more into this, I can't believe the level of misinformation regarding this topic.

It's shocking how almost all people on this planet turn to a "a war machine" from last 10 years.
A couple of days ago I'd made a comment about a video and I was treated like a bandit guy on a far western USA city used to be on early 1800's...
People now are used to WOUND other using words just like they see on movies other using fists and guns...
Please, you will not prove to be a better person or even that you know or a better understand of all those subjects using violence. In fact, every single person that have a better understanding should be the one that can explain patiently for those that can not to perceive a different point of view, right?
We are not competitors fighting against each other, right?
I hope you start to think more before type and throw angry over other ones so you'll can see, from this point of view, that the results on your life will be much better...

Where do I find more information on the mentioned correlation between FH and high coagulation factors I can show to my cardiologist? Thank you!

Keto diets increase the risk of stroke. It's not becuase of increased cholesterol, it's because being in ketosis is a stressor. It can certaily help with certain disorders but you are also accepting a higher risk of stroke.

If you want to reflect the treated group’s CHD improvement over the placebo group's, the division should be 0.4/2.0 = 20%, not 0.4/1.6 = 24%.
This is an error within the study, not Diamond’s. 24% is slightly more impressive than 20%, so it's evident why they would not be in a hurry to correct it. Diamond is just explaining how THEY arrived at this number. Diamond performs this computation correctly elsewhere in this presentation (see at 39:04 and 42:47).

Cholestyramine (a bile sequestering agent) employs a different mechanism of action for lowering cholesterol than what is used by a statin (an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor).
According to this study, cholestyramine has NO EFFECT on all-cause mortality, even though it does minimally reduce the incidence of CHD and MI. Statins, on the other hand, INCREASE all-cause mortality, which goes a long way to explain why their supporting studies are clipped at less than two years to hide this.
This is arguably where the NIH and FDA could step in to fund these clearly - and literally - unprofitable long-term studies.

I was suffering from cholesterol issues and got minor heart stroke for serval times. We consult to doctor and he prescribed Zetia also known as Ezetimibe from theonlinemedicine. Zetia(Ezetimibe) reduces bad cholesterol or LDL and also may prevent heart attacks, stroke, and death from cardiovascular-related causes.

@@ellanola6284 yes ! I got my blood work results a few days ago. Best ever !! I heard, I wondered, i believed it may be true,, I tried, and now I know. It worked for me.
I am amazed at how good my numbers are. I am amazed I guess only because I was led to believe that it wasn't possible. Tri's 56, fifty six !
Lowest before 150-180 a Few Times, 250 to 350 usually.
HDL 65 ! I was frustrated that I could get HDL over 40.
Cholesterol 150 and at best, trying pretty hard it was 190's to 210. Previously much higher.
A1C is good too (5 if I remember right, 5.3?)

3 to 4 eggs (pasture raised )almost daily, fried in grass fed butter ( tons, I like butter) along with ( grass fed ) red meat. Some fish ( fried in butter) and some chicken ( skin on )
I am 70 in 3 days. Last night at 50 yr reunion (covid, I wasn't 20 when I graduated, ha ) I had many, many compliments on how I looked.
Some people mentioned it 2 & 3 times. Actually I am amazed on how much better I feel and look. Thanks to Dr Diamond and all this great people I have found on YT here !!
My siblings (6) sadly, are doing terrible listening to the old false information and advice. Proof I wasn't blessed with some sort of great genes. Just new found great information & advice.
