I used your design for a tank stand for my goldfish. It is WAY too sturdy for the load and is basically a heavy-ass stump, but I trust it more than anything I would buy at a store. Wrapped it in fabric with a staple gun and it was good to go

If you're only going to put three tanks in that spot anyways, why dont you put one in the corner on a 45 degree angle. It will allow you to keep the corners of the tanks in line with each other. I think you said you were going to wrap them in your homemade stone foam thing. If the room doesn't allow you to keep them butted up to each other because of the dimensions, you can just link them with more material in between. But I would put them on a 45 degree angles in both corners. it'll give it more of a wrapped oval shape going around that short wall.

You build stands very well and I feel like instead of buying $200 stands I could just build one for under $50. I enjoy your work man. Keep it up.

You could probably make a U shape out of the 5 tanks, leaving the 2 against the wall by the window, the 1 tank on the other wall and then the other 2 tanks parallel to the 2 tanks by the window. You could space them out away from the single tank on the wall so you have room to access them. Hope that all made sense. Keep it up, I love the evolution of the gallery.

I found 1 or 2 CZcams videos that tested glue joints. They glued two 2 X 4s together and clamped for 24hrs. When they split the boards apart, the glue didn't fail, part of one 2 X 4 was stuck to the other. I would have more trust in a glue joint than a screw joint, but using mechanical fasteners with glue can't be beat.

wait, why not build a corner tank? did he say in a previous video? if the tanks will wrap, a corner tank seems like a effective way to use that corner, harder to access but you wouldnt need to access it that often. plus that kind of depth with a more narrow viewing edge gives a lot of options to aquascaping.

For the three stands, I would put one in the corner and have it facing outwards like the rest of the stands. It may take up a bit more space, but I think it's worth it because then all the tanks are facing one way and it's almost like you're surrounded by a wall of tanks.
Plus, it takes away the corner affect of the room
