This is reminds me of my younger days - my Mashi and Mamar Bari is over Siliguri and North Bengal....Few best young years of me and my cousins were spent in this city....i dont live in India any more and haven't been in Siliguri for 15 years but your video made me really nostalgic....seems just the other day , when i use to eat food in Tarai Pice hotel , roaming near pani tanki, shopping in Hong Kong market :) fantastic young days...miss them so much....Good Vlog.

অসম্ভব ভালো ভিডিও ছিল এটা। খাওয়া দাওয়া থেকে সবাইকে একসাথে দেখে খুব ভালো লাগলো। তবে যে ভদ্রলোক খাবার পরিবেশন করছিলেন, ওনাকে কি অমায়িক লাগলো! অতো ভালবেসে হোটেলে কেউ গেস্টদের খাওয়াতে পারে দেখে মন ভরে গিয়েছে।
I went to Kalpatoru for the first time during 1999. Went from Delhi, for some work. Kalpatoru was under management of the old owner - a gentleman originally from Jessore The food was simply awesome. I have been visiting that place since then. The old gentleman used to give me the local Bengali Newspaper Uttarbanga Sambad - for reading - while I waited for the food. Last time - when I went ( about four odd years ) ago - the management has changed - looked like. The food is still good - but very spicy and not the same old simple gharer ranna. The Stateman , Calcutta had reviewd this hotel - in glowing terms. Thanks for uploading the video - nicely shot with lively commentary. A must visit place in Siliguri.
Dada all good that ends well. I have gone through your channel but find something wrong that you haven't discussed the bill for each item. If you should have mentioned that the viewers have clear knowledge of that pice hotel. Always try to fulfill the requirement of viewers from next time.

In north Bengal there are so many bengali restaurants where taste are even better than Kolkata . Star restaurant of Kolkata also can't compare with them. Not only in siliguri, even coochbehar, alipurduar and some other places also we can find restaurant with super taste

I didn't see so many negative comments before on a food video. Different peoples eat different ways. This video has made to give the viewer information about foods but it seems Bangali peoples have different mentality. Perhaps we never learnt how to appreciate others. Constructive criticism always help to improve the program. Probably we have poverty in our mind.
Mouth watering!!!!! And very cheap priced. I born and raised in Siliguri. Last time I have visited in the year 2009. I have a plan to visit India by end of this year. Will definitely try Kalpatoru Hotel this time.

খাবারের আইটেমগুলো তো লা জাওয়াব।বিভিন্ন ভাজা থেকে শুরু করে সবজি,মাছ😂। আহা.... জিভে জল চলে এলো খাবারটা দেখে,খাবার খাওয়াটা দেখে খুব এনজয় করলাম।আর সৌম্য দা... নুন ছাড়া না ঘি ও মাটি লাগে,তাই তোমার টেস্ট অনুযায়ী তুমি খেতে থাকো।আর অবশ্যই অবশ্যই এরকম আরো ভিডিও চাই তোমার কাছ থেকে।
