- ‘The Field Edition’: a stunning restored and modified classic Range Rover, created by Overfinch’s Heritage division to showcase exceptional craftsmanship, design and performance engineering. The Field Edition is a unique vehicle inspired by British country pursuits.
The original donor vehicle, a 1993 Range Rover Classic, has undergone a “nut and bolt” rebuild and a meticulous chassis and bodywork restoration, finished in Bespoke Emerald Green with complementary Overfinch Nevada 16” Alloy Wheels. The all-new interior showcases a unique Overfinch tan leather theme, with perforated and diamond-quilt accents across the seating and headlining.
The Field Sports theme is fully expressed in the rear load-space, which features a gun box cellarette handcrafted from Walnut with Olive Ash inserts. Consisting of two lockable drawers, the gun box has room for two shotguns, equipment and accessories suitable for a variety of refreshments, and a specially crafted humidor compartment. The gun box is finished with a complementary, inlaid leather topper, and soft tan suede drawer linings.
To support the launch of the Field Edition, Overfinch collaborated with James Purdey & Sons Ltd, the Royal Warranted British gunmaker. Both brands share a passion for bespoke craftsmanship, luxury detailing, and distinctive British design. The Purdey sporting shotguns and premium field wear and accessories were the perfect match for Overfinch Heritage’s most refined creation to date.

A very cool car and video. Growing up in the 70's & 80's this was the essence of RR.
But it did not help the brand to survive...March 26, 2008, "Ford Motor Co. is selling its storied Jaguar and Land Rover businesses to India’s Tata Motors Ltd. in a deal that will net the U.S. automaker $1.7 billion - roughly a third of the price it paid for the two luxury brands".😁

The industry average is 121 problems reported per 100 vehicles by owners of a vehicle and brand, Land Rover (Range Rover is a model within the brand) scored 244 problems (!) per 100 vehicles, double the industry average!
i ve been fortunate enough to drive some of the most expensive cars, but if i had money , this would be my choice!

From 91 to 05 I was responsible for tooling approval of the Engine that this car was born with obviously not the LS. I was responsible for tooling approval of Landrover Aluminium V8 block and head also storm TD5 Aluminium head but not block and all dimensional and deviation Engineering reports. I live near an overfinch facility in Birstall Batley.
