I know of a kid that wanted to commit suicide, when he came out if the hospital, he ended in a Bible class "by accident" on the book of Romans, he said that changed his whole life. He preached the gospel thought the whole world until the day he died. Let's become EXPERTS in this book, nobody will deceive us.

I asked Jesus into my heart when I was 8. That night I had an unexplainable peace and joy that I have never experienced and scarcely experienced since. Even that night though, the enemy worked to snuff that out. I lost hope and confidence. Years went by. There was no more church, no praying or Bible reading in my family. No mention of God without it being a cuss word or cultural mantra. I was in a dark place until I felt His pull again when I was 17. I asked my grandpa if I could go to church with him, (the first time in so many years). I heard the words of Jesus read to me. There was no doubt that He was and is the Truth. No one speaks like He does or says the things He says. I said "yes". I dedicated my life to Him. Ever since then, it has been a a struggle but I know that Jesus is the Word, the Son of God, the One whom took the penalty of my sin upon Himself so I could be in righteous standing with God because I couldn't do it myself. He loves you. He is who you have always searched for in other things and people. He is perfect, without sin, extremely patient, loves you more than all of the love that exists in the world combined, hears every prayer and never forgets them even when you do. He is the beginning and the end and aims to make all things right. Not one subatomic particle moves without Him knowing about it and having complete control over it. You can trust Him with every tiny detail of your life. He gives wisdom that you could never think of on your own. He cares about you and has your absolute best interest in mind. Don't waste another moment of your life and talk to Him now.

This is my favorite Bible book. If you only had one Bible book that’s perfect, and to memorize, it’s Paul’s letter to Romans. I can’t wait to meet Paul and give him the biggest hug. He’s my absolute favorite apostle. He describes me perfectly, I’m a wretched sinner too. I do what I don’t want to do and don’t do what I want to do. I struggle with my sinful flesh every day . I used to convince myself that I hated myself because i struggle with sin and always lose, but then I realized that’s a lie, I’ve actually been very selfish and a slave to the fleshly cravings. Oh I am surely the chief of sinners.
July 30th-31st I had an experience that Is irreplaceable. An experience I'll never forget, one that changed me. I was with my girlfriend, doing what we usually do daily, get a little high off weed and put on a movie. The movie was about God. As we were disrespecting God watch a movie about him high, my girlfriend told me something, I broke and started to pour my heart to her, as I cried I begged to God to put the words in my mouth to make her believe how much I love her. As I started telling her, something shut my mouth up. Then I felt this energy in the room and something over took me and when that happened I lost control of my body. I started feeling a spiritual fight between God and Satan. Satan was everywhere it was darkness all over the room and a small speck of light. The light was fading but it fought to stay there and it fought and fought and all though the darkness was everywhere the light went no where. During this feeling I was not aware that my body was doing something else. I was being weird with my girlfriend and being very aggressive even hitting but my spirit wasn't there. While this happened something told my girlfriend through me mouth to not take me to the hospital and she almost listened until she decided to tell my brother and he told us to take me right away. We have no car so she didn't know how to take me. God put it in her heart who to call. Someone random that we don't ever call for favors. This person without hesitation helped us. Before we left to the hospital a voice told me that I'd be back, in the spot where this started happening, my bed. At the hospital, I don't remember anything from here on earth. My girlfriend said I was going ballistic trying to touch the cops and hospital workers. I was being very violent to the point police got involved. But my mind wasn't here, during this situation, someone was speaking to me, God. He was telling me very very very nice things. He would say you see that lady there. I'm In her , you see that man there. I'm in him. You Erik, you're my Golden Boy, you're special and I want you on this path but he let me know there is two paths though in this world ONLY two. And he put it in many many many examples that Ibwas able to understand but at the same time remained very confused. Then I started thinking an I dead. And although my body wasn't dead, I was out of control, my spirit told me yea you're dead. Today is when you die. I then started feeling a fight again many things like the color blue and the color red. The blue gave me peace and tranquility, the red felt rushed and painful. Black felt dark deep sad and painful, the white felt like life itself. God then told me. You're Erik, can you repeat it, and showed me my name I was able to see it in big letters " Erik Solano-Serna" my full name that I don't even use. I'm going to show you the truth and I will liberate you. It won't be easy, up until this point you've had a easy life with hard patches and he made me feel my life from my childhood up until this point. He showed me numbers only I knew like my childhood ID numbers. And he started explaining to me this, before the universe before life itself, there was only the word. Everything was word nothing physical and it was eternal and boring. So God said, let the word turn physical. God started creating the universe. What was that word? The word was Jesus. Jesus is the word of life. He told me it wasn't no one else. There is no other path but Jesus. Follow him and I understood. Then he told me but what is life? Let me tell you what life is. And he told me life isn't an individual feeling. Every person has life. Why is it that everyone has something in them that no one ever can create being the soul why is that? And he told me I'm life. I blew into you a piece of me that brought you here. Our lives our soul is irreplaceable because its literally a piece of God himself. I understood. And he said all these truths im giving you. You're going to be confused, write that word confused. And I started fighting the word confused in the sky with my finger and it wrote. And then he told me okay, remember this, you'll be very confused yet you'll understand it all in your heart when you wake up. You're going to be born again, as a baby, and I thought so it's reincarnation? I'm going to forget this life, this is where Erik ends and I become new life. And he told me yes and no. You'll understand when you wake up. And I felt excited but sad because what I'm experiencing my family and those I love aren't and I want to tell them. During all this the police were trying to arrest me I was going to jail and being labeled as a sex offender and my girlfriend was fighting for me on the real world telling the people I'm not like this I'm not violent I'm not a person that goes around trying to touch people. Something evil had control of my body. And for some apparent reason, they believed her and I left the hospital. I don't remember anything I just remember what happened spiritually. God told me I don't want this life for you, you see that woman there meaning my girlfriend, she has a bigger role than you, I'm in her like no other. Take care of her she's the most valuable gift I could ever give you ever, like the most precious diamond ever seem to the human eye. Now count son count and when you wake up you'll be born again you'll be someone knew. You're going to forget now spell the word forget, and I spelled it with my finger. And before you leave he said, I'm going to tell you thing, you're going to be uncomfortable now, very uncomfortable from now on , only I can give you comfort. Follow me. This experience here it would have felt when you wake up like an eternity ,yet it'll feel like I happened fast, you'll feel like it was a dream yet its going to be more real than the physical world. Now son, I'm going to make you come back, you're going to pee yourself and I said no why, and he said because when you pee yourself, you feel uncomfortable because you are in your piss, yet you feel relieved because you are letting go of something that isn't supposed to be in your body. Now count, and I began to to count. I got to the number five and woke up on my bed with piss everywhere naked like if I were a baby I checked the time it was 5am. I felt extremely confused yet I felt like a new person with knowledge I would have never been able to comprehend before. My girlfriend woke up too and started yelling at me and hitting me because I put her through the worse that day. She told me she'd never forgive me. I usually try to stop my girlfriend from leaving but not this time, this time I told her SANDRA I SPOKE WIYH GOD I SPOKE WITH HIM I WAS WITH HIM. and she left. I asked God to stay with her and if she's for me make her come back but she wasn't my priority anymore, it was my relationship with God. I woke up with hunger but not physical hunger, but the hunger to tell everyone what happened, to spread God's truth , that Jesus is our only way. I started telling people. About God and when I finished God brought my girlfriend back, I was expecting her to hit me or something but nO, She hugged me, also out of her character. At that moment I realized I knew what you meant by I was going to be born again. That day my spirit died, Erik died. And when I woke up it was no longer Erik living, but God living in me. And even if I'm breathing or not, that's not what being alive is, closing your eyes for the final time isn't death. Death is the path we choose of sin and the only way to live is accepting Jesus in your heart. From that day on my girlfriend and I told each other we will no longer smoke weed, we will no longer fornicate, we are going to do this the right way now. First check we get on our way to the court house to get married like God want longer be powered by our love, but God's love and truth. I'm not sure who will believe me or not, but honestly I don't care. I want you all to know this was more real than real. And God's path isn't easy or comfortable but neither is hell. Follow God. He'll be your comfort. Spread my word. Spread my truth that have given to you. People believe me when I say I don't feel like I deserved this experience, I ask myself why me , why? This experience I only read about in the Bible yet I received it. I don't feel worthy.
It's such a blessing that we gentiles get to have actual communion with the God of all creation. At one time it was only a Jewish high priest who got to speak with God once a year and intercede for the people. Now we can come freely to Him because of Messiah Yeshua (also called Jesus Christ).

Romans is my favorite Bible book, especially Paul's letter. I can't wait to meet Paul and thank him. I relate to him as a struggling sinner. I used to think I hated myself for failing in sin, but I realized it was selfishness. I admit, I am the chief of sinners.
I believe Paul is saying that the realm of sin and death shall not be the governing power/principle over Christian's lives, because we are not in the salvation historic period of the Old covenant.. we are not under the Mosaic Law ie Torah (Paul uses law in four ways in Romans: to speak of the entire old testament, the Torah, the Ten commandments or a principle) will all of its commandments which never justified anyone. We are in the New covenant period of grace. The Torah was given as a gracious gift of God yet sin worked through the law to produce more sin and so sinfulness was truly revealed and held us captive. Yet, the law is holy, just, right and good. Unfortunately, due to the weakness of our sinfulness it could never justify anyone. Hence why Christ came. However, the ten commandments are a guide for life for believers and are to be upheld as a gracious gift of God. The problem was not with the law but us in our sinful condition. The Ten commandments are to be fulfilled in love for God and neighbour by the Spirit. Christ's death and resurrection with the outpouring of the Spirit (thus uniting us to Christ and changing our hearts) is the basis for our ability/desire to love God and neighbour and uphold the law. You see these salvation periods contrasted through much of Romans: law/grace, law/spirit, flesh/spirit, written code/newness of spirit etc. I see the verse you mentioned as a promise due to our union with Jesus Christ. That is, we cannot continue in sin because God's seed/word dwells in us and we are born again by God and have his Spirit. We are not under the governing principle of "The law of sin and death" but the "law of the spirit of life." Its an amazing conciliation when we are fighting sin and to rest in his grace which he has set on us and is now the guiding principle over our lives :) Hope this helps and i get to share my joy. Obviously, this is all received by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. Jesus took my punishment, rose from the dead and i receive his righteousness by faith alone. Praise Jesus. I really like how Paul says that he is encouraged by “the mutual faith by you and me”. In the current world it is easy to forget our brothers and sisters who are with us.
It's written to meditate on the Word when you lay down and when you arise. It's so good just to lay down and listen to the Word before bed and as I wake up.

He'll be your comfort. Spread my word. Spread my truth that have given to you. People believe me when I say I don't feel like I deserved this experience, I ask myself why me , why? This experience I only read about in the Bible yet I received it. I don't feel worthy.
It's such a blessing that we gentiles get to have actual communion with the God of all creation. At one time it was only a Jewish high priest who got to speak with God once a year and intercede for the people. Now we can come freely to Him because of Messiah Yeshua (also called Jesus Christ).

Romans is my favorite Bible book, especially Paul's letter. I can't wait to meet Paul and thank him. I relate to him as a struggling sinner. I used to think I hated myself for failing in sin, but I realized it was selfishness. I admit, I am the chief of sinners.

I believe Paul is saying that the realm of sin and death shall not be the governing power/principle over Christian's lives, because we are not in the salvation historic period of the Old covenant.. we are not under the Mosaic Law ie Torah (Paul uses law in four ways in Romans: to speak of the entire old testament, the Torah, the Ten commandments or a principle) will all of its commandments which never justified anyone. We are in the New covenant period of grace. The Torah was given as a gracious gift of God yet sin worked through the law to produce more sin and so sinfulness was truly revealed and held us captive. Yet, the law is holy, just, right and good. Unfortunately, due to the weakness of our sinfulness it could never justify anyone. Hence why Christ came. However, the ten commandments are a guide for life for believers and are to be upheld as a gracious gift of God. The problem was not with the law but us in our sinful condition. The Ten commandments are to be fulfilled in love for God and neighbour by the Spirit. Christ's death and resurrection with the outpouring of the Spirit (thus uniting us to Christ and changing our hearts) is the basis for our ability/desire to love God and neighbour and uphold the law.
You see these salvation periods contrasted through much of Romans:
law/grace, law/spirit, flesh/spirit, written code/newness of spirit etc. I see the verse you mentioned as a promise due to our union with Jesus Christ. That is, we cannot continue in sin because God's seed/word dwells in us and we are born again by God and have his Spirit. We are not under the governing principle of "The law of sin and death" but the "law of the spirit of life." Its an amazing conciliation when we are fighting sin and to rest in his grace which he has set on us and is now the guiding principle over our lives :)
Hope this helps and i get to share my joy. Obviously, this is all received by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone. Jesus took my punishment, rose from the dead and i receive his righteousness by faith alone. Praise Jesus.

I really like how Paul says that he is encouraged by “the mutual faith by you and me”. In the current world it is easy to forget our brothers and sisters who are with us.
