I collect Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High, Rainbow High, LOL OMG, Na Na Na Surprise, Disney Princess Dolls and so many more! I love fashion dolls and I believe that dolls are the best toys for people to improve empathy and to explore their creativity!
Well they improved the face & eye molds thru the years. And especially did the original core girls right with Fantastic Fashion. I never liked series 1 or 2, but fell in love with the others after that. I don't own any Fantastic Fashion dolls (yet), but do like them so much better than series 1. And glad they passed the new faces to this reboot. I think kids will be drawn to them.
I would have to put distilled water and glitter in the shoes (like a snow globe) then uv Resin or hot glue to seal them. That's so much better for me as a customizer than slime that's gonna gunk up the Doll
Cute ide! I am debating to use glue mixed the glitter and paint them inside and to seal them also.
Their faces are cute honestly, but...yeah I think I am done collecting them. My wallet breathes a massive sigh of relief. 😆
I’m not particularly a Violet fan either but I love her face and hair here way more than on her orginal doll, however, I do prefer her original outfit over this weird sequin shirt dress.

Ive heard that the budget cuts on rainbow high and omg dolls are funding the bratz dolls and im completely fine with that i love bratz. I recently descovered that bratz heads look amazing on omg bodies.

So far, I've only bought Amaya and the jr. high Bella, but honestly, I like them both a lot. I really like the glitter freckles, and I love Amayas outfit. Bella is absolutely adorable, too. While I do dislike the slime aspect of the high school dolls, Amayas accessories look absolutely fine if I don't fill them, so it doesn't really matter to me. Though I'm about to go wash out the copious amounts of hair gel in Bella's hair...

Fr they’re meant to be highschool students and know about fashion buut lately in the last series lines they had lackluster styles, the same repeated jacket design, not many different styles for pants and maybe they’re running out of ideas so they want to appeal to kids with a more magic theme

What confuses me is it’s called RAINBOW high yet they got rid of the girl that signifies the orange in the rainbow, it’s basically just 5 colors of the rainbow plus Amaya…
They did not get rid of orange. She's harder to find because she's super popular.

Aside from the gimmick and some of their fashion choices, their faces are so gorgeous, almost like a custom. Very blushy and smooth paint.
I like Violet and have ordered Amaya. Love her rainbow theme.

I feel like the one thing they should have done with the reboot is putting less product in their hair. Like it takes 2 or 3 washes to get that stuff out it's terrible. Also tbh I think I would have traded the stand for them to keep the wrist articulation.
I feel like the slime aspect is going to hurt sales in the long run. Too many parents have learned a hard lesson in regards to slime and kids. I don't know if the number of responsible kids are going to outnumber the, "Absof*ckinglutely NO slime!" parents enough to make up for lost sales from the slime.

I'm a grandparent & I'm not fond (at all) of slime. My daughter in law isn't either. It makes too big of a mess. Playdoh is okay but not slime.

People don't like change and people will always find something to complain about. Remember we're (collectors) are not the targeted audience.
Because they’re making it cheaper and more low effort for the same price or higher, plus they removed a fan favorite character and replaced her with a forgettable one.
But I think the dolls look very cute.

Never been a huge rainbow high fan...........I actually prefer the faces here.
I guess Amaya equals two colours of the rainbow or something.
i like these faces better too and the clothing isn't too bad (its better then barbies at least) but i just dont like the glitter foreheads, i haven't seen any of these dolls in person yet tho so i might change my mind ounce i do because dolls tend to look different in person then in pictures.
I'm not a fan of Violet on any of her versions except Winter Break, imo she's been very overlooked in the looks they put her on, and hate the bangs in her S1 version, but I think at least the face of this version is cute, maybe I'll rebody her head on an articulated one (or take her eyes for my WB one because hers are fading out)

My first reaction was negative but I've come around. While I miss the articulation and still am not over the missing Poppy, I like the pets, the hair, and most of the outfits after a restyle. I will NOT be doing slime play, but will likely pick them up at some point.
Had to watch again because I picked her up and the back of the head is poorly rooted. Yours was the same in the back center so I don't feel as bad. But why?

Not a fan of slime happy with this one but rh is for children so mga is target demographic is children I think most collectors forget that and I heard store employees are being told to throw away poppy for some reason
I don’t like this Violet’s dress. I redressed this one in the second outfit from wave 1 Violet . I like her so much more in that spare outfit.

I can see the appeal. I can't get into the glitter on the face. It doesn't seem to do anything. It is not highlights, it is not all over, it is almost like an alien thing on some SF program, and just looks cheap. The rest of the doll, look OK, to me.

This Violet looks like past all night in a club, drink too much, the dress is messy, and is trowing up everywere as Skyller is holding her since she's probably going fall and hurt her nose, and she's all sweaty mixing with the glitter in her body... Yeah, kinda like it.

These don't like bad. They just look like a revamp of their original looks, but for children, adults always go into a frenzy every time any brand makes a line for children 😂this is the only line that features slime, there's been other leaks showing that we are getting other stuff as well so I don't know if we can really call this a "reboot"
If anything, they're returning to the original concept, they started out as poopsie rainbow surprise dolls that had clothes you put slime in.
Have there been leaks of anything other than the swimsuit budget dolls and Jr highs?
