In order to unlock the secret and best ending. You need to complete the game twice, there are collectibles exclusive to each character that you need for the trophy.
First, you need to collect the Lagniappes set them to Grace during the very end of the game.

About Alone in the Dark PS5 remake:
The return of the original survival horror experience.
Alone in the Dark is an atmospheric reimagining of 1992's ground-breaking survival horror of the same name.
In 1920s America, Emily Hartwood recruits private detective Edward Carnby to aid in the search for her missing uncle. Their hunt leads them to Derceto Manor, a home for the mentally fatigued in the gothic American South that hides a dark secret.
Play as either Edward (David Harbour) or Emily (Jodie Comer) and as they explore Derceto and discover horrors that defy explanation. If people were wondering, the hedge maze and pirates are a reference to the original Alone in the Dark 2. The hedge maze appears early in the game and the theme of the game is very pirate heavy.
On my 2nd play through, after the last boss is defeated, Jeremy mentions that Grace should be taken to New Orleans because she needs to be taken to the Hell's Kitchen, to which Emily replies "What are you even talking about". This is a reference to the mansion in Alone in the Dark 2. Other references to the game can also be found in the Lagniappe "Flying Dutchman" which was the boat in the game.
As for the Lagniappes required to unlock this cut scene, all were items from the original Alone in the dark 1 game.
The napkin looks like the old indian blanket that you needed to cower a painting, the Biscuit case is a consumable that replenished your health, and the toy is an item used to defeat the last boss.
There are other references to Alone in the Dark 3 as well, such as the mentions of Slaughter Gulch, but I never got that deep into that game.
Hah, nice I did not note the napkin indian blanket ref. I must have been exhausted last night finishing the game, cus I do not recall Jeremy mentioning Hell's Kitchen...hooo boy that could be a winner if they remake it too and do as well here as this one did.
@@RPSamurai_Jon-Lynn Jeremy mentioned Hell's Kitchen only on my 2nd playthrough. On my 1st playthrough he says something in the lines of "She is special". At least the devs are paving room for a sequel. Hopefully there will be one and the devs will improve on gameplay where this remake was lacking.

Best way to avoid boss battle
These obscure ones that don’t really tell you how to get them have been bugging me being a completionist 🤣 (sad the sacrifice to the tree on is bugged right now, the tree never “calls” you again)

I think it's just 4th wall breaking. The developers were just having fun. Here's hoping for Alone in the Dark 2 tho, as Grace plays a big role in the original game.
That we will get a Alone in the Dark 2 remake as well? Here's hoping wishes do come true...even if it may summon ancient sleeping demons.
