- Welcome guys and gals. So in this episode Im off to the Great British Koi Show. Met some fantastic people and saw some amazing Koi Fish and just had an overall fantastic day. Their feeding behaviour is nervous, isn't it? That doesn't allow the water to mature because it's not digestible. Also, I don't think it's a good idea to add new KOIs at this time of year. You'll be more susceptible to disease and flukes later on.
Yes the fry are very nervous at the moment as a heron took half of them a month ago, I don't know what you mean with the digestible comment? And I've bought many a fish later than this with no issues it depends how you look after them. Then next show in 4 weeks thousands of people will be buying fish from there and that's even later if it was dangerous I'm sure there wouldn't be hundreds of dealers selling koi there 👍
@@keepingitkoi The habit is so infested that a strange situation has arisen where everyone has a microscope on hand. KOIs should be made strong and immunised. The problem is that they are treated like consumables over there.
