in all rpg games i like sorcerer or mage class due is easier for lvlup and PVE, in this case do you find SORCERER as a good class to farm and pve in lost ark?

Nice POV, just highlights how stupid broken Sorcs are in PvP. Ranged instant cast with so many hard CCs and spammable mobility (notice how its so easy to build gauge on her). Every melee’s nightmare.

Sorc has two hard ccs (squall and ice shower), 1 semi-hard cc (rev'gravity that requires set up or enemy not having space) and rest are stagger which can be avoided pretty easy esp as a melee unless her predictions are solid. Sorc is only "broken" if her team truly supports her, otherwise she's a sitting duck without gauge. If you want Broken, look no further than Destroyer or DB

@@SolitaryHid I won’t argue against Destroyer because it’s true but ppl who says DB is broken clearly doesn’t play enough against DBs. They have high dmg yes, but their engages are so insanely predictable and telegraphed (similar to Artillerist) that u have all the tools as a Sorc to deal with easily. For most melees to catch a good Sorc they’d need to burn every single mobility skills and if they fail it’s guaranteed easy punish due to the nature of range vs melee.
Reverse Gravity doesn’t need a setup?…it actually comes out and takes effect pretty instant. And I wouldn’t say much prediction is required when most her meta spells are instant cast, ranged, and point-n-click AND alrdy pretty high dmg without needing to burn gauge for dps (arcane rupture). As for her stagger combo (frost call, lightning vortex, esoteric) they’re literally requiring u to burn SA mobility skill or dodge usage but once u use that, you don’t/barely have anything to catch up to her or outplay her when she does her ice shower freeze/reverse gravity/flame wave whatever order she chooses to do.
These are just my opinion and u can disagree however u please, but I’ve played many melees and some ranged in 3v3s TDM solo queue pug games. And all I can say is my easiest wins/least learning curve came from playing as Sorc.

@@AQ-yn5ns thats a pretty fair assessment and i can understand you POV. Maybe broken is perhaps exaggerative for DB, so we can call sorc and db "pvp friendly" then.
I do have to disagree with some though. From my experience; Even if the engage is predictable, they can still catch you pretty easy due to the sheer mobility most DBs have access to in skill set. You can waste half a gauge or more on blinks and the DB will still be right behind you (a good one at least). DB wastes gap closers sure but if you happen to catch the sorc which is fairly likely accounting for team placement, ice shower (with tenacity) is the only safe way to avoid being cancelled. CD times for both classes arent that high either, but Point to click cc is disadvatanged to melee since itll just cancel upon being hit without precise timing.
Rev gravity seems inconsistent, i see many say its instant but i regularly have it cancelled and its pretty easy to avoid since the lift effect has a 0.3s delay even with rift accel (which isnt the optimal choice for pvp iirc). In that respect it does take some setup because it is either used as a cc-lengthener or a de-escalation method to buy time. You also need to apply chill if you want the fullest extent of lift.
Prediction is a HUGE aspect of sorc gameplay though, if you dont have a good sense of tracking, you are guaranteed to miss a lot of your chances to lock. You also have to be able to track blink distance and positioning (so predicting where abouts youll land) to readjust the mouse for skill usage. There's also a sense of prediction that falls into reactivity tho thats a bit more complex, but I agree with the ice shower statement. I will say if you are engaging a sorc you should expect it, and thus its actually fairly easy to bait out or maneauver around since theres a small radius infront of the sorc that doesnt freeze.

@@blake904 more than likely pvp will be tweaked over future updates but i doubt they will put heavy focus on it unless its gets really bad in kr or SG/Amazon rly mess something up. But as someone who only does pvp, its fairly decent except a few classes that are obnoxious
