- For the third week of Dave Cam’s Zero to Hero series for 2023 iRacing Season 2, Dave is staying in the open wheelers this week despite his disdain last week at the Red Bull Ring. It’s a little bit different of a car though, this time it’s the Skip Barber. The track, however might be a little more susceptible to some chaos.
This week’s race is at Mount Panorama, also known as Bathurst, and Dave is set to take on a 10 lap feature in the Skip Barber Racing Series. The 6.21-kilometer, 3.861-mile circuit in New South Wales, Australia, is one of the trickiest in the world.
Dave is just trying to make it to the end with no contact this week. Last week was brutal, even in the race he was able to complete for the series.
Starting from the eighth starting position, Dave will have to fight from the back to get up top. Can Dave avoid the chaos and take the top spot this week? You’ll have to watch until the end to find out… hopefully nobody runs into the back of our hero this week after the race!
We’ve got a bunch of other Dave Cam content on the Traxion.GG website and Traxion.GG CZcams page, so be sure to check those out. We’re also covering tons of racing games, equipment, and so much more on the channel, so be sure to check those out as well. Keep it pinned!

Bah... started watching you, got a rig, got an A license and a 2k irating... bulged a disc in my back snowboarding and now I'm back to living through your racing. Cheers for making the content.
I'm impressed with your consistency almost as much as your racecraft
Great race Dave, shame that I couldn't shave off a second. :)
Unlike last week, you couldn't have scripted this one any better! Beautiful driving - can really
appreciate the early acceleration and smooth lines in the Skippy. An unexpected SR goldmine!
I'm just now learning Bathurst and all I can say is, "😳"
Great stuff Dave!👍
I love this series thank you
I did the Skippy a couple of years back (around the time Jules did it) where I ran a whole season. Bathurst and the Skippy was a great combination. Thanks for the content!
What a cracking race. Well done
Nice race man!
Before T1, just have to say, love the livery.
Love the track, I’m horrendous in the skippy though. Nice stuff Dave 👍
Great drive, Dave.
Love this track and car combo.
Great drive! Nicely done
Yorkshire Tea livery for the win!
Why is the RPM dial -83 degrees off center?
In the real car the steering column/tacho cable interfered with each other so it was turned sideways to make it fit 😁
Why is tachometer mounted side-ways?
In the real car the steering column/tacho cable interfered with each other so it was turned sideways to make it fit 😁
I wish I could get good races like this, I seem to always attract morons who have the spacial awareness of an earthworm so they never leave space and just turn in like I’m not there smh.
the skippy has a horrible noise when at the high revs like buzzing noise or interference noise
