In the trash. No doubt. After Dave's last show they demolished the set within minutes and threw it in the dumpster. No sentimentality in show business. People on the street jumped into the dumpster to take stuff home including the Brooklyn bridge.
Hey Don! Great job again (as usual). I'm from Houston, and was wondering if you could upload Houston legend Marvin Zindler's appearance on Late Night. I believe it's from October 14, 1982, a night that also included George Miller.
Remarkable. Those guys were always hilarious and on this show had Dave cracking up. Hopefully the Late Night staff didn't get too many angry letters from viewers in Utah and Wyoming, whose states got reduced a bit. I am curious about the show they wrote with Bob and Ray
Hi Don, I wonder if you could possibly post the complete compilation of Julia Roberts interview?? Or at least the full episodes that she's in.. Especially with good quality.. I really love seeing Dave interviewing Julia.. They're bonded somehow.. Thanks!! Good work btw.. 😀👍
First, thanks! My sharable Late Show video collection, while complete, hasn't been digitized yet. Most of the shows after 1999 are currently behind immovable "stuff," a situation that won't be resolved until I finish digitizing the Late Nights. I'm up to August 1990, so it'll be a while. Roberts was on Late Night just once as a guest in 1989 (November 3). She showed up three years later (October 28, 1992) but only to briefly drop by and say hello. I've digitized the former but not yet the latter.
Also, it appears that "The Letterman Chronological" uploader had already compiled what you're looking for Here's Part 1: czcams.com/video/-zelurw0Pmg/video.html
Wooowww that''s indeed a lot of work.. thanks for the link, but I've seen it and it isn't complete.. only 18 episodes from 26 aired.. well, I guess I just have to wait for you then.. 😅 anyway I'm 32yo from Indonesia and really appreciate your collection and effort to post the work of #DavidLetterman.. he's one of a kind and so are you!! 😀👍
Love how Paul played them in with their "theme" from their SNL bit, which Paul probably wrote.
I saw Franken do this in Minnesota last year.
The day I was born.
Next would be my home state, yes here it comes 😂
Wonder where that drawing is now. Letterman folklore. Classic.
Franken has done this several times. It's a good parlor trick. He's done it on SNL.

You're very kind!!
You worth the appreciation Don.. 😀
I can do that but not nearly as good and as fast
Al did not make Indiana and Ohio one giant state. Personally, I'm for it.
