I’ve been trying to find info on how to clean and lube the splines on the final drive. There’s a very narrow space for access. How do you get in there?
Hi Ernie, I used some brake cleaner and a long screwdriver wrapped with a rag. I also pushed a rag in to protect the clutch. Not sure if it’s necessary but that’s what I did. To lube the splines I used a long brush, and was very sparingly on the amount used. Just covered the splines lightly. Thanks for watching.
