Closing shot Hangover Bald? Bird said it was haunted by a Spearfinger.
My boys' grandmother who is part Indian has always talked about little people. We just thought she was messing around. whenever something would go missing in her house she would always say she guessed that the little people took it.
My father and uncle grew up together, both of them told me they saw lil people in the woods
I would be shocked if non-southern and non-Cherokee speakers can understand what he's saying 😊 my favorite accent in the world and I wish I were sitting on that porch listening to those stories from the elders 😊
Ot too hard if you listen
Was not that hard to understand
No prob understanding
When I left for the service I couldn’t understand anyone who was from “ up north “. I could only understand ppl from Texas, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Lol.
If you can understand a Newfie you can understand anyone. This accent is beautiful tho!! I wish I heard it more.
I have seen me a wee person. One night while driving me çar through the forest,I seen him on the roadside. He was on driver's side, got a real good eyeball on it.No such thing as cellphones with camera back than.
But I do know what I see'd and it were a little people.
Can Ye describe it in further detail ?
My pawpaw use to tell me stories of the little people. He said, they would almost start to glow when they would get mad lol!
What are you 5??
I'm liking my comment I'm not embarrassed lmao
Jim tom pouting cause he's not the one talking.! 😂
Ya
... he loves hearing himself talk....and he tells some tall ones too lol....anybody that is constantly saying they're telling the truth while telling a story is definitely full of shit ! Lol.....
Loved it. I can see this happening especially in Snowbird mountains!
My dog killed one. I thought it was a doll but I saw it moving! Trying to get away. Then I saw smoke leave it’s body and it disappeared entirely.
This is curious at least, there were Graves of like 3' tall mummies in Appalachia discoved by a farmer tillin his fields. Each one had a slate stone covering his/her burial site then buried.
Always good to hear about other cultures and beliefs.
He's talking about the little people, or as some call em, tommyknockers. A legend in native American cultures.
Its the pixies
Ain't nobody called them tommyknockers or whatever you wanna call them. Fuck that this is the real deal
Thanks!
Tsalagi people have these beings in North Carolina
The nunapee. Thats what i grew up knowing. Maybe not quite the same as just little people, but some peoples comments and him speaking of the missing stuff and things. Nunapee got em.
There are many different types of these beings and regional tales. I know more about them than I wish I did. Nothing like firsthand experiences.
Mtn folk lohr is the best.
Thats an olee cherokeee man
Little feets. They like you, or they don't.
Yall know he’s trollin
Yea
Native American Ojibwe, we call them Memiigiiwesiyug. Little People. I took a trip to Cherokee north carolina to fish for trout and they are in the mountains there. Respect the forests and put your tobacco down along with some food.
Where can i find that song at the end. Shit speaks to my soul
Moonshiner - Okkervil River, is close but not exactly the same sound
Bod Dylan does a cover, and a group called Red Bird does a really good version, maybe not as soul satisfying as this one, but still good.

This specific version played is by Roscoe Holcomb. czcams.com/video/3uRH5lofhbs/video.html
The Legend of the " Nûñnë'hï among the "Tsalagi" people " although many First Peoples have Examples of little people in there cultures oral story traditions
How do you say that, with those accents?? Nunahe?
What song is at the end?
What is the song at the end

Sounds like this man is Cajun.
Full blood Cherokee
Cherokee with a strong WNC Appalachian twang 🙏

I dont even care if he's BSing or not, what he's talking about is 100% the real deal. I used to see these "creatures" when i was very little.
And i suspect my old homestead has one. You don't talk about them, and you damn sure don't blame them for anything or make jokes about them.
You pretend they're not there even if you see them, and they will do the same. It's like a game you play with little kids...... when the kid thinks he's invisible and you go along with it. No one will believe you anyway.
I found that out when I was little. I used to see one in a tall pine tree. He would stand still as a statue, looking off into the horizon over the house.
I tried to tell the adults but they laughed, thought i was making it up.
This creature didn't want anything to do with me and i dang sure didn't want anything tobdo with it!
Though it didn't look at me it did have a sort of malevolent grin. Nut brown skin, clean shaven but wizened face. The clothing looked old and kinda grungy. No hair on top of its head.
Looked about as tall as me but not scrawny or frail or wispy. Imagine Dopey from snow white.... only this was more like Dopey's evil twin.
We lived at that place briefly, staying with another family until my mom found us a place of our own. It was strange and i didn't like being there. I loved being outdoors as a kid, but not there. I wouldn't go any farther than the back doorsteps.... close enough to run inside if i needed to.
I think i was three years old, maybe 4... not in school yet.
The place I'm at now in an ooooold homestead and very likely old Indian hunting grounds. We find arrowheads every now and then. There's an old wagon wheel imbedded in an enormous hickory tree. And there's always been a presence. My husband is impervious to anything supernatural, he even picks at me for believing in this stuff. But I'm not going to pretend i didn't see this stuff anymore than I'd denyb seeing a deer. However he absolutely hates going outside after dark. He says it's because one evening a few years ago he was standing in the driveway by the road and felt an oppressive malevolence around him, like he was about to be someone's dinner.
And our kids have even heard things they couldn't explain. The sounds of tiny feet running across the roof and shouting "weeeeee" as it reached the edge. On one memorable occasion my oldest (9 at the time) said something rude about the "house elf".... the next day the internet cable was in pieces like something had chopped it up with a hoe.
My own experiences involve things disappearing the second i lay it down. Sometimes it shows up again immediately, sometimes never. One particular day I was looking for a lighter that i knew was on the dining table. I'd just seen it that morning. when i needed it it was gone. The table was clear. Natural assumtiplon was someone has grabbed it earlier. But .... I was home alone. I then turned the house upside down trying to find it because now it's a mission. In my household i am the finder. If anything goes missing i can always retrieve it because I'm persistent (and i know how to look for things, unlike my family who will overlook the object when it's right in front of them) in this case it was NOT normal for something to outright disappear from a specific place without help.
Finally in exasperation i said out loud "if you're gonna live here the least you can do is not hide my stuff!!"
As i came back into the dining room that wretched lighter was sitting in the middle of my table.
Another trick i learned from my cousin is if things do go missing (keys, wallet, etc) leave a piece of candy out as a trade.
I used to do this periodically.... i might have to start again.
I hear them too I believe there wanting to be good.they don't want to burn when 2nd coming of christ comes back.
Sounds like leprochauns in the Irish culture....
And Menehune (Hawaiian), Pygmies (in Greek mythology - not the African Pygmy tribes), Nisse (Scandanavian), etc. Also pixies, sprites, elves, dwarves, gnomes... the list goes on and on. Most if not all cultures have stories of little beings that are either mischievous and can be friendly or malicious. I always enjoy hearing the folklore.
Or a dose of ????
Meth if u want
A dose of racism and allowing yourself to be conditioned to believe nothing.
Still not clear on what he talkn bout?
Ron he talking about tommyknockers
Indian people have an intenty called "Little People"...
They are USUALLY friendly, and give you warnings to protect you, however can also be ORNERY, pestering you if they have been disrespected...
Bigfoot
What is he even talking about
Like he said, little people, you wouldn't understand because you're not native to this land
Little people he said.. at least that's what I got
What?
isnt those little guys call moon eye people because they cant stand bright light,,,i got blue eyes and cant stand the light of the day, i would rather live in the evening or the night or inside a cool darker humid place , like a basement or a cave.so yes if there as been voyageur from somewhere else and they had blue eyes,, i can see them acting this way,, even more if the use the moon cycle as culture and have white round faces....
The Little People ain’t Moon Eyed people. Little People is supernatural type folks. Moon Eyed people is who lived in these mountains before the Cherokee
What in God's name is he talking about?
It’s demons
your mom is demons
I know you don't know what this guy is saying 😂😂
He said they little but there powerful people. Let me put it another way my ancestors you could call them they would one of them come arrond and watch the house but you dont see them that's what I'm saying. If you went on in the house and and he came in with you he's going to give you a warning just like we sitting here you would hear something knock somewhere or bang somewhere. The 1st time it will be a little loud 2nd time it'll be louder th 3rd time will be loud if you don't get away from there fast you might be hurt bad.
It can sling you from here to the truck but you don't see what it is but I can pick you up just like you picking up a little boy and throw you down founder somewhere.
@@stephenguy7749 Thank you! Obviously a great deal of what the gentleman said was clear, but I did need a little help. I loved listening to the fellow talk - there's pleasant gentle cadence to his speech.
WTF IS HE TALKING ABOUT.. DOES ANYBODY KNOW???? LOLOLOLOL
He's talking about the Little People. In Europe, they can be called elves or fairies or trolls or leprechauns. Here in North Carolina, all the Cherokees agree about them. I know one who puts food out for them.
That White Man is so disrespectful, not paying attention, and scratchnig his back, in disdain..
His name is Jim Tom and they are both sitting on his porch. He can scratch his back all that he wants.
