@@NURKFPV Haters gonna hate. i filmed a wedding for the first time ever in my life with a hero8 black and a 7" the other week. I caught so much hate about my "b roll" and my drone shots. I used what i had. I didn't even have the karma grip as my gopro karma fn flew away with my hero6 and insta360onex like a few months ago and i just didn't have the cash to buy more equipment before the wedding. But you know what? At the end of the day my friend who got married and asked me to film was happy to just have a cool video made of his and his wife's special day. They have watched it several times and loved every second of it. I gave it to them on a flash drive and they were more than happy. that's honestly all that matters to me.everyone else can go fxxk themselves. Loved watching this video! Were there things that could of been done better? of course. but at the end of the day you provided some sick ass content and learned a thing or two. It's always funny to go over and look at these peoples pages who talk so much junk and see that they either don't even have any videos of their own or only handful. I really don't get how someone can knock another persons efforts when they don't even try to do it better. At least try and make something better then come at me with your example of what i should be doing and don't just throw it in my face and say you suck. No, be constructive and give advice/ pointers.
I didn't realize you could reelsteady hero8 footage. the wedding edit i did could of been more steady i guess if i had known and bought the software. but i wonder if i could go back and reelsteady all the unstable" scenes ? being a 19min video that would be one hell of a render. prob take a yr to finish lol

Kudos, the presure just to fly with a red on board is enough, to chase a hypercar of that calibre ,cant imagine the pressure.
it's hard to tell the cam quality just looking at it on youtube. Doesn't look any better than a GoPro

@@YorkyPoo_UAV and yet the insta footage looks better on CZcams...seems like that shouldn't be the case.
@@su_K3N I'm thinking because it was made for Instagram and CZcams. Less distortion has to take place versus something that has to be either upscaled or downscaled for a particular screen. Personally I prefer higher frame rates over a higher resolution.
Footage with 5 inch was better than the $$$ rig. Easier to maneuver I’m sure.

As a drone pilot my self - i can say that this is amazing! As a camera man, video maker - the type of shots you did, its not worth such money. Too high risk of a failure. Anyways, Nice thing you got there :)

@@NURKFPV Man really watching this and older videos no way this is better then gopro :D or at least not sure what you are showing here MoneyShot episodes it is crap for my eye and hmm not sure too expensive to be this unstable heavy and expensive stuff lol.... Mavic seems can do same and better maybe :/ hm... I guess someone just wasted loads of time on this unless it has future upgrades and way much better ideas for it as now no way it is worth the money..... sad and bad..
@@MrDFPV-hz1gh you obviously don't know much about cameras to say that... it is like you were saying a nikon D700 is similar to an iphone camera... You can't do anything with mavic video (post), it's just the video as it is and that's all. Mavic has 3axis gimbal, you cannot do this kind of shot with a mavic, you don't have that trust... Nah it's not the same league at all... There are people interested in this kind of drones and it's not that expensive at all... Obviously it is too expensive for amateur but it's not the target of this drone.
This dude is the reason I fly drones now. The entire inspiration of what I do and why I do it came from nurk an his videos.

It's always badass when you can work with equipment like that. Maybe giving the Red a bit more of a downward angle to keep the subject centered in the shot? Chasing cars also helps when you know a turn is coming up, you can speed up, do a quick 180 reverse into the straight/turn.
This is pretty awesome. Tripping on all the Artlist tracks I hear today I've used on my other channel... on top of the amazing visuals.

@@NURKFPV agreed. I can't afford to have all the music services. I usually find something on Artlist that works. To be honest finding the right tracks can be one the longest parts of the editing process. Looks like you got it all nailed though.

Awesome stuff! Super excited to get to build some of these! But I have an important question. When at the Rally Ranch, did you meet the ground level cloud?
Just now getting up the nerve to fly my EVO II in atti mode around structures and towers. Sharp course corrections using counter-stick inputs (you FPV guys probably have a slick term for whatever I mean) are still freaking me out with a sub-$2K drone. THIS is insane!

I think with a steadxp plug in the red it will be a good option to get stabilized footage. I don't know if you have ever try but steadxp record the movements of the gyroscope and after that you can stabilize your footage. Maybe a better stabilization than reelsteady go.

I liked your playing with the 5 inch while chasing the rally car way more than the more static footage with the money shot. I bet that the raw footage of the RED cam looks better than a GoPro but here on CZcams I very much prefer the juicy 5 inch GoPro footage. Nice flying sir, but such an expensive and heavy drone doesn’t allow the pilot to fly the really awesome way. Anyway, I would’ve shat my pants, you have my full respect ;)

i wonder if an extra camera and another pilot riding along would help, maybe one camera facing backwards and switchable by pilot, and definitely calibrating the fov on the dji unit to match i mean drawing lines on the screens to show what the red will see framing wise. maybe a live out of the red for the director to watch, its important to know when you got the shot and theres no need to run again.
