A massive thank you to Keith Radcliffe aka DJ Stardust for editing this video together.
Thought I'd try my hand at remixing this house music anthem. Giving me something to look forward to playing out when events becoming a thing again in the UK.
I've built it from the ground up, using the original vocal samples N-Joi used. I also used the Korg M1 plugin for that go to 90s house piano. Added some of my own backing vocals in places to bring something extra to the mix.
I hope you N-Joi - Hudba

You couldn't have done a better job on this classic! Big respect for possibly the best remix of a 90s anthem out there!
Whoa! Thank you for the ridiculously amazing feedback. It makes it all worthwhile hearing peoples thoughts, especially ones like this. Thanks again.
@@bobbycooper5846 I've dropped this in a few live sets recently and it really pops off man! Always struggled to mix in the original, this has been a spot on touch up!

Really fresh sounding and does justice to original. Amazing job!
Beautiful - This is So, So Nice.
Still a Anthem Bravo 🎉 Bobby Cooper plus clip is pretty cool . I find it quite the nostalgiK memory
I love this song
The video editing is made very well. You don't have the feeling that there is much image re-using and also the music sequences fit the images very well! You re-made the song in a perfect classic way! Thank you!
Thank you. A good friend of mine did the video editing for me and he definitely did a top job. Thanks for the feedback.
Love it!!! 👌👌👌👌❤️
[Good job Bobby Boy! For a [Re]Surrection of a Vintage that old without a butchery is Tough. Nice, clean, same feel. Not too far.

Man, where did you get original samples?
I've my DJ mentors to thank for that. Years of listening to them talk about music and turning me on to jams from the past I might have never heard sure did help. One in particular, Colin, laid out this entire track sample wise one night and blew my mind. Thought it was all original 😂
need more same tune and vocal girl
Good but not same official. We all up the 50 years old remember other lovely times!!!
I hear ya. I wish I could have been at the front and left (🤪) of any venue back then. That and a KLF gig 😂. I adore the original and what it means and represents to dance music history. I absolutely, catagorically and in no way attempted or wanted to be or better the original.... as that is an impossible task plus would defeat the purpose of a remix. I just wanted to do the original some justice after being disgusted hearing a god awful and comically out of key 'remix' on a stream during lockdowns. I just had to try put something else out there that showed the original some appreciation.
Why did I think that Gwen Guthrie was singing these lyrics!?
Because Gwen Guthrie, Darlene Davis and Caron Wheeler were the actual singers that were sampled in N-Joi’s "Anthem".
@@honich-eriker :Thank you for the clarification!
SAFFRON WAS GORGEOUS 😍
@@vincentcushnahan5292:The camera loved her!
@@19gregske55 but the one live version is quite good where Saffron is actually singing most of the track by herself
Ихххххха
Not as good as the original no where near id say it's like a diluted version of an an exceptional dance track .
Thanks for the feedback. I wasn't trying to better the original, as that's an impossible task. I'm a huge fan of the original. I heard a truly awful remix on some live set on the radio that completely butchered the heart and soul of the original and it compelled me to try and do the original some sort of justice.
@@bobbycooper5846 a great timeless track though 👌
I'm sorry what the f*** am I missing about this remix. I'm not going dislike it but it's mediocre-at-best. What did you have all your buddies give you great reviews LOL
Thanks for the feedback. You can't please everyone and I fully understand the murky waters you get into messing with huge classics. I just wanted to put my own little spin on it after hearing a really terrible out of key remix during a DJs lockdown livestream. I just had to try something with it as it was burning a hole in my brain. It was intentionally designed to be either a set starter or last tune / one more tune kinda thing, hence the lack of your typical drum loop intro. Again, thanks for the comment. P.S I'd be pumped if my mates did that to be honest.
@@bobbycooper5846 ignore the haters Coopz.
This bellend is just a fud.
WTF Coops an amazing mix of a classic don’t listen to this comment ❤
@@bobbycooper5846hey nate, you don't have to explain yourself to this whopper! It's a fantastic mix and one of, if not the best remix if this I've EVER heard! Love it
