What is the slowest 22 subsonic ammo reliably cycling in a Taurus TX 22 Compact and S&W M&P15 rifle?

Two popular .22 lr semi automatic firearms are tested with different subsonic ammunition to find the slowest cartridge that reliably cycles in both. The firearms used are the Taurus Tx 22 Compact and the Smith & Wesson M&P 15 - 22 semi automatic rifle. Rated speed of the ammo tested ranges from a slow speed of 710 feet per second to the highest speed (1083 feet per second) which will still be subsonic out of a pistol barrel. The speed of sound is approximately 1,125 fps so I used ammo rated at speeds less than that.
