Like Hoodie, Masky is inspired by a character from the web series Marble Hornets, created by Troy Wagner, which later became creepypasta. Today we're going to tell you our version of Masky's story, merging the theories circulating on the Internet.

Hoodie: He was a big fan of Slenderman and later he became his proxy.
Masky: He suffered from memory loss and he also saw Slenderman that time and he also became his proxy.
Ticci Toby: He has uncontrollable ticcs and lost his elder sister Lyra Rogers in a tragic car accident. His father was edicted to alcohol and he hated that. Later Slenderman says him to kill his father and he did. Later he also became his proxy.
Kate the Chaser: She had illusions of Slenderman and later she also became his proxy.

First of all in the actual Marble Hornets Tim states that his parents put him in a mental hospital from a early age. So he didn't kill his parents.
Secondly Alex gave Jay the tapes and also Tim gave Jay the tapes Alex gave him saying he had nothing to review the footage on and it was Jay who revealed what was on those tapes. Most of this entire is incorrect except for the Tim met Brian in collage and they signed up for Marble hornets. His original name is masked man.
Also Masky and Hoodie are not creepypasta

Masky is not a proxy. Neither is Hoody. Masky is either Tim reacting in a fit of insanity influenced by Operator sickness or Tim working with Brian under the ToTheArk identity and sending clues for Jay to find information about Alex, who IS a proxy. Or at least, acts more proxy-like. Hoody is just Brian disguising himself under the ToTheArk identity, leading Jay and after he’s kicked out, Tim, to figure out Alex’s plans and stop him and The Operator.
