Asher has No fear. I was ready but I wasn't. So sweet & tender, vulnerable with an inner strength. He took his time on this melody, milked every moment, fluttered into that falsetto, then belted out the big notes with ease. Amazing vocalist! - So You Wanna Be A Singer

He took one of the most iconic songs ever, and performed it Asher style! The performance was spectacular and he complimented Whitney, by not over or under singing it. You don’t sing this song, unless you can sing it, and he sang the hell outta it! After Whitney, the best rendition ever!

His lower range is just as lovely as his higher register. I'm jealous as a female with an alto/tenor voice. Wow is the only word I've got to describe Asher's performances. Everything he does musically, is tasteful.
From baritone to falsetto Ashwer has all the tools and the feel to use the palatte wisely.
The chills we are all feeling when listening to this God-given voice, is the coveted privilege of watching one of our most talented music superstars to have come along in a very long time being birthed right before our eyes. Please take care of this man so he can bless us with his singing for many years to come. He is no doubt going to be a one-name phenom in music history. And how did so many of us not know of him sooner, especially with the phenomenal, incredible, perhaps best rendition of "Rise Up" ever put out and which has been on CZcams at least a year - what?! If you have not watched it yet, you will be blown away more than you already are!

Please vote for Asher, America! A couple of the women had voices close to his, eliminated in previous rounds. Asher is the best voice remaining and only Nathan is even close to him. Asher sings with so much emotion that this one had me in tears. I’ve been watching since Season 6. Asher has a Jordan Smith caliber of a voice.

To be honest, I don't like people singing Whitney's songs. But damned if Asher didn't do just the most emotive and beautiful rendition of IWALY. An homage, for sure.
Let's not forget, It was Dolly Parton's song first. She wrote this song years before Whitney performed her Beautiful rendition for The Bodyguard movie. Now Asher has put his spin on it, and it brought tears to my eyes just like Whitney's version did when I first heard it at the end of the movie. Props to Asher.

Nathan has been my favorite since Gene went home, and I cast my vote for him after the first performance of the finale. The unearthly beauty of Asher's last performance of the night broke my attachment to my personal tastes, and I changed my vote as the show ended.
