the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. czcams.com/users/postUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.
Tell me
Duuuuude, everything about this is so amazing...the desk, the video, the details, the design talk...might be y favorite all around project and video you've made bud!
Thanks man! This was definitely the most fun I had with a video haha
Absolutely amazing work; you’re not only a great woodworker but an amazing storyteller, filmmaker, editor, designer. I would love a desk like this!
Thank you so much!
@@BevelishCreations Your amazon link doesn't work.. May I know what monitor arm are you using?
Just discovered your channel. Beautiful work. I love how you walk us through your thought process. Looking forward to more projects from you!
Gorgeous film, every frame a picture. Desk is gorgeous too. Luscious. Mahalo for sharing!🙂🐒
Thank you sir!
Your storytelling really kept me hooked. It was so interesting and funny at the same time. Looking forward to the dest setup tour
Thanks!
Simple project 🤨 the materials were probably a couple grand 😂
Love the way you talk about the entirety of the process, literally earned a new sub, as I was looking forward to my own DIY desk
You did an incredible job! Beautiful design and build! 😍😍
Thanks guys!
This is sooo good. Pretty inspired to try something similar in the future.
Great build and video! I'm with you, I really like the flaw that you highlighted. That's my favorite part.
Thanks Bruce! This video format allows me more time to do that sort of stuff. I really like it

This is an amazing build and it's giving me ideas but as always that editing is on point!
Thank you thank you!
Such a good channel! can't believe I'm only seeing this now
THIS is a “banger” video. I normally multitask when I watch videos but I couldn’t look away!!!
Thank you! That’s the type of comments I love to hear :D
Wow! I love the desk, it looks so awesome!
Thanks!

Absolutely killed this one...desk AND video, Alex!!! Loving how it turned out.

Absolutely top notch!!!
Thank you :)
YOU've rightfully earned my subscription. Great stuffs.
You have my full attention!
As a columbus local, I now know a new wood shop! Typically has always gone to woodcraft. Beautiful work!
Brilliant video!
Thanks :)
Thats gotta be the most beautiful desk ive ever seen. Good mix of technology and nature.
Thanks!
Beautiful desk, lovely work!
Thank you!
Absolutely love the desk and the woodwork + epoxy. Love to own something like this someday. Huge congrats 👏👏
Thank you!
love these desk videos
Thanks!
Super clean build! Gave me some great ideas, I wouldn’t have thought to make holders for the laptop and dock.
Thanks! :)
Brooooooooooo
You are goals, from your tech to design to woodworking and videography.
It sucks cause I have none of those skills, so please never stop making videos.
Hahaha thanks man! Really appreciate it!
This is amazing! I was just at urbn timber the other day to build the exact same desk with very similar measurements! Thank you so much for all the details as I will be copying all of this!
Thanks :D
I learned so much from this video. Thank you!! You crack me up.
Hahaha thank you so much!
Awesome work!
Thanks!
Hindsight is a superpower!
Dude this is first table I’ve seen with that dark pigment, it turned out amazing, well done! Love the details you talked about during the project. Subbed!
Thank you! :)
wow thats so awesome!
Thanks!
Stunning table !
Love your shoes too 😉
Thank you! :D
wow this looks sooo good.
Thanks :)
Great video you put so much effort into the desk and the story telling was amazing
Thank you! :)
That desk is a dream 😍 I desperately need to build a custom desk and you've set some goals for me right there!
Thanks!
Wow just found your channel. This video is super cool. Love your editing style. Well produced, high effort stuff man. Can’t wait to see what else you put out!
Thank you!
I hear ya on those surfacing bits being scary! Beautiful build, I’m officially inspired to make a custom standing desk.
stunning desk!
Thanks!
Great storytelling 🤣 and great finish on the desk 👍🏽
Awesome project.
Thank you Angie
wow! love your sense of humor and also your deep dive into details. I am on Board! After watching this, I looked at my desk and thought.... hmmm..... :D
Haha thanks!
i'm new to your channel but i already love your videos
Thank you! I’m still trying to figure out the format so…it varies a lot haha
GREAT JOB BRO
Thanks!
I'm just a new follower and already inspired by your work. Thanks to you I got Sharp3d app and I can't wait to draw all my furniture designs digitally. Love your content.
Thank you!
Stunning
Thanks!
Just found your channel, love the vibe and delivery of your videos. I subscribed hoping for more great vids as I venture into the n00bdome of woodworking myself.
Haha thanks!
Nice desk!
Thanks!
Well done video and desk👍👏👏👏
Thanks :)
amazing video :)
That's very nice modern table.
Yessss
beautiful wood. good job.
Thanks!
This is the best desk set up video I have ever seen
Thanks :D
That drawer front looks incredible!
Thanks!
Very beautiful
Thanks!
This is just stunning Alex, how satisfying for you. I can commiserate with the amount of time and mess it takes to flatten these large slabs, I recently completed a similar table, and using a router jig started well enough, and then a few hours in, became the worst process ever. :) Your desk looks just gorgeous, congrats!
Hahaha yeah my gray hoodie turned into a brown hoodie 😂
@@BevelishCreations 🤣
So clever and rich bravo
Thanks :)
New suscríber. Your work is awesome!
Thank you!
Another excellent build Alex
Thanks Gregory!
Can you add the C Channel table top stabilizers to your materials list?
Oops thought I did it already. Thanks for letting me know! Just added the link
Beautiful work, Alex! Amazing looking table! 😃
A tip about the finish you used is to try to get (or make) a pad like that for your sander. So... Less sweat and you can apply more at the time. 😊
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks! I tried it on the sander and ended up throwing finish everywhere so I stopped doing it haha. I’ll try it again in the future!
@@BevelishCreations Ouch... 😬
Yeah, it needs to be with a speed controlled sander... 😂
Obsessed with this ENTIRE "film".
:D thank you
love the work. thinking of doing something similar but maybe less expensive.
This is gooood!!!
Thanks
@@BevelishCreations I have a qn regarding the wireless charger. Is there a heat problem when its charging? How did you work on it if it got too hot ?
Nope no problems with overheating. That’s why I went with this one because it has a proprietary technology to prevent overheating. Check out my review video about it :)
the amount of work you put into this is insane
Thanks!
Hello, Wow, I am impressed. Awesome. Congratulations. You did a Great Job. You are amazing. Brilliant. Excellent 👍👊❤️❤️❤️❤️
🙌🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏👏. Cool. I love it.
Thank you!
Awesome table top. I’m in the process of doing the same. Black walnut with black epoxy
Nice! It’s a great combo
This is amazing! Beautiful desk.
PS - that drawer in the center would drive me crazy!
You and me both!
Im subscribe, like comment and share because of this video, please made more of this kind a video in the future cant wait to see whats coming next 👍🏻greets from Indonesia 🇮🇩
Thank you
It's mesmerising how much work you put into your videos. You gained a subscription and I hope your channel blows up :).
Would you consider doing a video on your productivity system or the tools that help you balance your day job and side hustles?
Have a nice day!
Thank you! This whole productivity thing is still new to me, but I’ve been learning a lot through trying different things. I definitely plan to make a video about how I balance everything :)
I come across your channel by accident. This is super nice. Your building process shows a lot of mistakes that I can learn from. Great work!
Thanks!
Look at you given props to Urbn Timber. I really like their selections. I’ve seen several of your videos prior but never gave a thought to where you are located.
Project turned out great.
12:51 ah so satisfying
😁
Nice work😎🦋👍🌻🤙🌺... created mine as well and came out gorgeous!!! Definitely bigger than yours! Wall to wall!
Daaaang that’s glorious!
Could you share where you got the wallpaper on your phone?
Could you please tell me what CNC machine you have/use? I looked at you video list and don’t see anything specifically covering the machine you use. Very interested. Thanks for the great content and inspiration!
It’s a X-Carve
Question. What would you say the weight of the desk plus it's contents would be? I'm looking to do the same but I don't want to overload the motors on the table. Thank you. And great job on the desk and the video.
Hmm not sure…probably 125lbs. The legs can take up to 300lbs
Hey Alex, I've been thinking about the same type of desk. Thanks for posting the video. How sturdy is the Uplift Desk with the 1.5" thick top?
It’s very sturdy!
The shot 13:18 is so amazing!
Thanks!
man, this guy deserves 10X more views
The algorithm hates me 😭
I have a desk with this bevel,the desk u made.🔥🔥🔥
?i just bought an monitor arm for my desk which has a bevel like yours; did you have any problems when installing monitor arm that comes with a c clamp?on your desk being that it has this bevel?
Nope. No issues. The C clamp on my monitor arm is pretty big
Do you have any details on the mobile drill press for your cordless drill? Is it purchased or homemade?
I have a video and plans for that
Great video! Love the wood grain and how it all turned out!!
Where did you get the screen saver clock?
Thanks! It’s an app called Flipclock
Recommendation is get a under-desk keyboard tray and ur hands won't have to sit as high. Then raise the desk electronically. Then lower your monitor height so that it is at the correct height.
Thanks for the tip
@@BevelishCreations having a keyboard tray that slides out also allows you to sit farther away from screen and should help with eye strain as well!
3:49 "I'm kind of cheap" ...yeah... no :D Look at your car and the Tools your are using :D
Haha there’s a limit
@@BevelishCreations 🙈🤣
I came here to say the same thing.
He's not cheap because he's well-off. He's well-off because he's cheap :)
Oooo that’s deep
Dude, this desk looks amazing! You deserve way more subscribers, just don't turn into a CNC channel...
Much love from the Netherlands!
Thank you! And definitely won’t turn into a CNC channel haha. I usually incorporate it as part of a build or only if I decide to a tutorial about a particular design
Very good video, love your style of cuting and making the video. I was wondering what the little wrist rest thingy is called, would be nice if you could me out.
It’s called Carpio by Delta Hub
@@BevelishCreations thanks for the response!
Great work that desk looks amazing! Also I see you must be in Columbus?! Small work I am too!
I am! Small world! :D
nice
🙏
"Pro tip, tighten your pants" Classic!
😏
Which chair are you using? Especially the neck rest.? Lumbar support?
It’s the Herman Miller Aeron
Hello, just wondering what the overall cost for the project was. I always wanted to build my own desk and this looks absolutely amazing!!
It’d be around $2500. If I made it with only one slab, it’d be $2100ish
BAYMAX all the way :3 Love it ^^ (Check number plates if anything)
The desk turned out amazing! Stunning! What kind of slider are you using?
Thanks! I’m using the Rhino Arcii, and some shots were with my DJI Ronin S mounted on the slider
@@BevelishCreations awesome, thanks for the info! Looks great!
Hi! Really like ur video! Could u tell me whats the name of the chair ( for the desk) that u using? What's the impressions about it? Im 175sm tall and I'm looking for something comfortable like this as well. Thanks!
Thanks :) the chair I’m using is the Herman Millet Aeron and I love it. I used to have neck and back pains from sitting improperly, but it’s almost all gone after only a short time with this chair. I know it’s an expensive chair, but you can get it for $300-$500 on Facebook marketplace so it’s a good deal. I got mine for $350.
@@BevelishCreations thanks!!!
I want to stay hard wired to my Modem Router combo, any Ideas on how I can use my standing desk and keeping the router on my desk?
My laptop is hardwired too. But instead of leaving my router on the desk, I mounted a switch under my desk. It’s much smaller and easier to attach under the desk with double sided tape or Velcro
@@BevelishCreations Can you share a Pic?
What mini workstation are you using or recommend for undermounting? I'm in the market and trying to find something small but powerful enough for 3D modeling woodworking plans.
I’m using a 2019 16” MacBook Pro and it’s powerful enough for everything I do
Sorry I posted before I was done typing lol. All of the new M1 Macs are more powerful than my MacBook Pro and cheaper, so I definitely recommend those if you’re in the Mac ecosystem
awesome work, very nite and I Love it. A's + all around (Idea, presentation, execution) but the millon Dollar question is how much did it cost; as if I would build something like it myself or ask you to do it for me? regardless; good work (except for the drawer position)
To build it yourself, it would have cost around $2000. If you asked me to build it, it’d probably be $5000
