It was a fantastic, high quality match played by both players! Wow, Sen's recovery was so quick, as he had just defeated Antonsen in 3 long games. Hats off to Lee as he had managed to draw level with Sen many times during the match. That's the spirit of sports, never give up! Obviously wanted Lee to progress into the semi, but Sen was really impressive and patient I would say. Can't wait to see who makes it to the All England finals!

I would say Lakshya won crucial points with smart drive and avoid lifting to backline to frustrate LZJ and give no chance for LZJ to launch his deadly smash but end-up made unforced errors! Lesson learnt here for LZJ next time play smarter if opponent outplay you with such tactical move.
Feel like LZJ had opportunity to do a lot of kill shots but he went for net instead. Sen was very sharp and less forced errors.
Finally he finds his old form on crucial time

LZJ has many times late to the shuttle or indecision.
I think he should learn from Momota. Momota always reaches to the shuttlecock even if he thought it was going to go out, just in case, if it wasn't, he was prepared to play it.
So close match like this, every point matters. Evey indecision, loses 2 points, 1 point less for you 1 point extra for your opponent.
Laskya Sen relies only on his defense and less unforced errors. LZJ has powerful attack, but still lack of better defense compared to Sen.
Proves, how important is defense.
IMO, for LZJ to do so, he has to train his stamina harder like LD, LCW, and MMT

Lakshya Sen is an absolute CLASS! That was superb. Great strategy, great execution, tiringly consistent with IQ over 1000. To think he made LZJ play quick exchanges at the net at the last minute to force LZJ to make a mistake is crazy!

as talented lazyjia is, guy has no attitude and aptitude to be champion. being a veteran now and still so inconsistent, he'll quickly become irrelevant.
makes u wonder why the gen-Z had such amazing inner strength. guys like ASY, brian, popov, kunlavut, kodai, all played like veteran despite their young age.

Most of LZJ’s smash, block, net, hit and returned the shuttercock in straight line to opponent. In my personal opinion, He now good in stamina and skill, and got powerful smash, if can play like TTY styles that unpredictable of shuttercock direction. Then, LZJ could go further.
