I had a really unfortunate moment with my mother earlier where I was telling her about a girlfriend of mine, her wife and their 2 kids. My mom asked: “so it’s two women?” When I said yes, her response was”Ew! That’s not right” I was so hurt and disappointed by what she said that we ended up having an argument based around my belief that love is love, and that I will absolutely not accept any form of homophobia . After we cooled down, I got her to watch the official music video for this song, and to my surprise, she acknowledged that she was very wrong, apologized and asked me if we could talk more so that she could gain a better understanding of same sex relationships. I am so proud of her now because I realized that she was genuinely ignorant and that she was willing to admit that she was wrong , and expressed a genuine desire to learn and be more open minded.
The most beautiful song ever, so touching, it’s so humans, just love it and I am crying so hard. Sadly there is millions of millions LGBT group out there are still struggling hardly trying to be accepted not only by families members, but by political issues,religion,cultures. Thank you Calum for sharing your beautiful life by your music, hope whole world starting to open mind, open hearts, open eyes and see so round no matter what, we all are just humans beings. Love is love without judgment. Well done Calum

I will never say “My life is Amazing!” , “My life is beautiful” ,knowing that there are so many people struggling and fighting against society , bullies , not being supported by families ... we gotta think positive and be who we really are ! I am so proud of him for sharing this with the world. All I wish for any human being on this planet is for them to be happy and to have everything they wish for in life.
