I was there during the snowstorm 10 years ago! It was a lot of fun, my Japanese friends had so much fun playing in the snow. The photos of thick layer of snow in the nearby temple was some of the most memorable in my life.

I’m in northern Canada. We have no snow currently. Had barely any all winter. Only a few cm’s all fall and winter. They started fire season early this year. Last summer, my city was in the path of a fire. My brother in law (a firefighter) was in charge of making the barrier to protect the city. We are supposed to get 10-15cm this weekend! I hope we get it. It’s soooooo dry here

I think snow and lightning and thunder is called Thundersnow! There was a video of a reporter who got so excited every time there was a flash of lightning during a snowstorm! 😁

When I was living in the Mountain side, then , I was only 8 years old. but much snowing was giving many activity chance to play on the snowing. example, skiing, throwing the snow balls with my friends and making the snow house that was called
