The believer must be aware that this isn't an excuse or a license to go on sinning and many will claim that you are not truly saved, as many Bible verses agree. God will not be mocked, and fake repentance is useless, but truly posture your heart towards God and walk in the victory of Jesus' sacrifice to have that sin wiped away!

And if the person reading this is struggling with some sort of sin, just now, God has a way out for you, and you can overcome, but it has to be with God, since we can't do it alone. I’m only 13 years old walking with Christ and struggling with worrying, I guess anxiety, overthinking, prideful ish, disobedience, not loving, instrusive thoughts, lustful thoughts, war thoughts, lost, confuse, and to hear God closely. Hey, I prayed for you. You have good intentions in your heart, but like me and many other people, it seems like the way we walk is full of turns and twists when our path is not of righteousness.
When we turn to secular doctrines, ideas, and philosophies of mankind and contemporary culture, and not the word of The Lord Jesus Christ and ALL of the books of The Holy Bible, we distance ourselves further from God, and can find false justification and comfort in the word of nonbelievers.
Jesus will make our paths straight. He will offer us opportunities to do good, to make the choice to follow Him. We were given a choice to sin because God wants to know if we will follow Him and love him back.
It is not a sin to have sinful thoughts, but it is our obedient duty to throw them out as soon as they arrive in our heads, lest we fall into sin. You can’t have a conversation with the demons. They are smarter and more beguiling, and we are weak without the power of God and Christ, therefore never get into a conversation with consideration of temptation (lust for example) it will win, unless you cast the thought out and turn swiftly to God.
There is nothing wrong with you, the devil will send barrages of spiritual bombs devised to rip you away from God, because humanity is God’s most prized possession. People in your life may not understand your faith, they will criticize you unjustly and ask you questions that you may not have the answer to. But stay strong and steadfast, young person. Believe that God will deliver you from the pain and struggles of your mortal life one day, and instead of looking back with regret of inaction and of sin, you can instead triumph and be proud that you followed the word of The Holy Father as much as you could. if you are proud of what God does through you, that pride is not sinful. Pride is a problem when we think that all of the things we accomplish in life are our own doing and accomplishments. But the truth is, without Christ we have no way to God, and without God we aren’t even capable of being alive. Without The Holy Spirit and Grace, Christ cannot move through us and heal us. Go to scripture, study it like you’re taking the most important class of your life. God bless you. I’m 20 years old myself and I’m just beginning to walk with Christ too. It doesn’t matter who you are or how old you are. In fact, we are blessed in that we can start early in life to become closer with God. I sincerely hope that this helps you.

I can testify to this. Since I could remember, I’ve struggled with lust. I let the internet corrupt my brain when I was a child. I’m 25 now and found Jesus. I prayed for His grace and it was almost day and night. Christ is my Lord and without him, I couldn’t have defeated this plague. Temptation is real, but The Holy Spirit dwells in me and protects my heart from opening for those demons.

I would recommend to pray for understanding of GOD’s word and read your Bible, start with the gospels. Jesus shows us how to live. Prayer and fasting will help you but you can’t just do it once, you must continue to pray, continue to fast, continue to read you Bible and you will have more control over your mouth

For me, I was deliberately sinning as a dog returns to its vomit. It would hurt me, i would stop, then repeat. It took me to finally realize that I was deliberately sinning, and that my repentance wasnt real repentance because i had not turned away from sin. Saying sorry wont get people into the kingdom of heaven, and just saying sorry, while continuing to live in sin, is not real repenting. When I realized that i was in a mindset of saying, "Im still going to heaven regardless of what Ive done, but I still want to stop sinning", i realized that I was lying to myself, and ignoring the Holy Spirit's conviction. I prayed that the desire to sin would go away, and when it did, i still went back to that sin. When I allowed myself to get convicted by the Holy Spirit, not only that my deeds were evil, but that I was being hypocritical, then I realized that I would go to hell. Remember, im talking about deliberate sin. As Jesus says in the book of revalation that he would vomit those out of His mouth that were neither cold nor hot. Being convicted Im sure is more than realizing that you've done evil, but allowing God to put it in your heart that you would go to hell unless you repent. And that conviction deepy instilled the fear of the Lord into my soul and made me not even think of continuing to live in sin/deliberately sin. Proverbs 16:6 "Wickedness is atoned for by loyalty and faithfulness, and one turns from evil by the fear of the Lord" And after i had the fear of the Lord in my again, once i truly feared the Lord because I realized the depths and consequence of my sin, I no longer desired evil. (This all happened a few days ago)
After this, I felt really freed, amd refreshed, and I had a clear mind that wasnt being tornmented by iniquity. I was lead to this verse that same day. Acts 3:19 "Therefore repent and turn back, that your sins may be wiped out so that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and He may send Jesus, who has been appointed Messiah for you". And the words "seasons of refreshing" is the most accurate term i can use to explain what its like. Obviously, the sin that i was indulging in was lust. But dont make excuses for sin. And by watching this your video, I've realized the reason the Holy Spirit's conviction feels much greater the first time we come to Jesus is because the mindset of "I'm saved, I can do anything as long as i repent", which is a SUBCONCIOUS way of thinking, so dont think im talking about those who arent actually saved and use Jesus. Im talking about believers that dont truly repent and turn away from sin completely and to no longer indulge in it. The thought of going to hell because of sin is what likely first brought you to repent and give your life to Jesus Christ. Because you realized that you have done evil, and that the wages of sin is death. Im not saying you won't ever sin again, but again, using that terminology almost like an excuse for sin is evil. Whoever reads this, if you read this with contempt, and get angry at me saying you wont go to heaven if you live in sin, that same anger at real conviction from other people is what used to keep me from truly repenting, and made me not listen to the conviction of the Spirit. By knowledge of the law comes the knowledge of sin. And through the law, sin is deemed sinful beyond measure. Those arent the exact quotes, but that is written about in Romans 8:7-13. To sum up a little, when you knew you were going down the road to destruction, you feared the Lord, and His name, because you realized He would judge you righteously. Now, if you dont think the Lord will judge you because Jesus died for you, WITHOUT REPENTING, then you will feel comfortable and wont think you need to fear the Lord. Im referring to the subconscious, because if you knew you were going to hell, you would stop, turn back, repent, and follow God. Nothing i have said contradicts the gospel because I've gotten my doctrines from the gospel, and without dispelling conviction by giving an excuse for sinning. Im trying to fit everything i want to say into a youtube comment so i know this is an extremely long comment to read, but i dont make youtube videos, so aye. John, the baptist, told the people to repent. Jesus Christ also said to repent. Its only by faith through grace that we are saved though. Repenting without Jesus' sacrifice won't do anything for you. And Jesus' sacrifice, without repenting, won't help you. Unbelievers dont repent, but they'll face God like everyone else. Deliberate sin, dont get confused.

Ive observed that sometimes the reason why God may not take away a temptation or sinful behaviour automatically is because then we can use the struggle to become more virtuous. You can literally build in the skills and abilities your praying for through the temptation you face with Gods help. Build up the God-man. God bless 🙏
If you don’t mind, I’d like to push back just a bit. I don’t think that God will let you keep walking in temptation for character building. Simply because temptation is from Satan. I feel that God wouldn’t use something to build strength that comes from the enemy. Just my take on it. Thanks for watching and for sharing your feedback

There are times where we feel so weak to the point where we don't have enough strength to recall our entire situation to tell others what's been bothering us. This happens to me very often and when I realize this I always come to the question, "what happened/went wrong?"
I don't have the strength to describe everything in detail. I feel abandoned/alone, helpless in the silence of the night, and struggling with my closeness with Christ and exhausted in my battle with sin. I wish I could grow God's spirit back in me since I have quenched it, but I don't know how. It's just a horrible bitterness and it's nothing compared to what I've felt before. Please pray for me.
You need to repent and spend some time in prayer and worship. I recommend you go in your room, turn on some worship music and surrender your sin to the Lord and then take it day by day. You can do this. The Holy Spirit is still with you. Speak to Him
The timing of this is undeniably epic!! The title alone had an effect! With that said,
LUST is a very big problem of mine. Not so much acting on it but the flame of it tends to burn white hot!! And its off and on!! Regardless of the urge frequency..and while i havent placed myself in a position to indulge in the temptation over the period of a few months or so..
I absolutely HATE this is a lingering problem. Not even so much watching porn but the mere thought. I see a woman whom i find attractive in a meticulous way. If i allow my eyes to set on her..my imagination goes to work and ive come to a place within where I honestly wish that wasnt the case at all.
I thank The Lord with all my heart he's brought me the distance ive travelled but dammit the thoughts tend to awaken the primal nature in me instantaneously, intensifying the desire!! I truly need the readers who honestly believe to PRAY FOR ME!!!!
May you find freedom and peace in the image of God. And thank you for being brave enough to share your struggles so that they may be dissolved through prayer and faith. I pray that you can overcome this temptation by the blood of the Lamb. Father I come to you seeking victory and relief of this temptation and desire that my brother is walking through. I ask that you help him to continue finding success in you daily and help him not have to repent because he will come to you in prayer ahead of time. In Jesus name, amen
You need more than prayers, you need to stop believe the lies of the devil and start to obey God. If you are a true christian you let yourself guide by the Holy Spirit. And He will make you get baptised in Jesus name so you are free of the sinful nature, free of the power of sin and free of the direct influence of Satan and his demons, because by getting baptised in Jesus name you are also reborn in Jesus who is only pure and holy. And so you receive a new holy and pure nature in Jesus. Sin is then taken away from you.
As I got baptised in Jesus name the lust was taken away from me and I was able to restist all temptation I could not restist before.
Now I am a child of God who is reborn in the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Jesus), the Light of Life. Before I had the Holy Spirit inside my heart but I (my Spirit) was just next to Him. And with the baptism in Jesus name I died and I was reborn in the Holy Spirit. So I am free of the power of sin and free of lust as long as I walk in his Spirit. Galather 5, 16: "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." - This is not just theory for me, I live it!
As long as.. After some times I believed a lie and thus I stopped walking in the Spirit and could not restist temptations again and watched p*rn again. But as I repented (gave up what God showed me I should not do) and asked for forgiveness I then walked again in the Spirit and was able to restist all temptations again and thus did not watched P*rn anymore. All by grace, not by works but by obedience to the Holy Spirit who makes my body alive so I do not need to sin anymore (Romans 8).

I will pray. The enemy and the flesh tell us that those things will feel good and be rewarding but they only lead to guilt and shame and most often are underwhelming and unfulfilling. Don’t keep falling into the trap. I will pray for you

This is more challenging for people your age than it is for people my age. People in their younger years are in school where popularity matters so much and what people think of you. Not that you still don’t care when you’re older, but it doesn’t matter what people think for the most part. Do the best you can to honor Jesus and keep your moral code biblical, not of the world. I needed this. I did a hard drug and smoked weed almost everyday for years. Ever since I’ve been closer to Jesus I’ve been so convicted of bad and evil things. Even though I cut back a lot, I struggle with this sin and fell yesterday. I feel so dirty sometimes because I know it’s not Gods will for me. I sin and repent over and over but feel as if I’ve crossed the line way too many times . I know he’s merciful but I need help stopping. I want to be with Jesus one day, I need advice Marcus
This is a hard one for a lot of people. Myself included. When I got saved, I came home from prison and started smoking and drinking in the car ride home. A few months later I stopped only to fall into it again later. The only suggestion I can make it to put boundaries in place. Get into a church, tell someone, have them hold you accountable, join a celebrate recovery or something like that and try to surround yourself with people that don’t use. Focus on your walk with the Lord and what He would have you do or not do. God bless you with strength and victory

Are you baptised in Jesus name? It changed my life, my lust was taken away and I stopped watch p*rn the devil made me watch. Using drugs is also forced by evil spirits. But if you are baptised in Jesus name you get free of those evil powers and are able to restist all temptations as long as you walk in the Spirit of Jesus who overcame everything for us.
In Jesus we got victory. Jesus overcame all, went to heaven and sits now with his father on his throne and from there he sends his Holy Spirit to all his Chilrden (just ask him for the Holy Spirit and you receive = Luke 11, 13) so they have victory in him by faith. I received him as I closed a door for sin (s*x before marriage) which God showed me I need to do and then I said "God I invite you into my life" and he came into my life. He gave me a new living heart and poured out his pure undying Love by the Holy Spirit he gave me. Since then the Holy Spirit guides me into all Truth. And since I got baptised in Jesus name I am in the Holy Spirit (not just next to him) be able to overcome everything (because Jesus has already overcome the whole world) by my faith and believe Jesus is who he is "God the savior who saved and still saves".
"4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." = 1 John 5, 4 and 1 John 5, 5:
"5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"
This is important, to believe in Jesus which means to do what God tells you through the Holy Spirit. Listen and obey is key to walk in the Spirit of Jesus. And when you walk in the Spirit you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh. God's Word of Truth for the proof:
Galather 5, 16: "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." - This is not just theory for me, I live it.
But you can stop walking in the spirit by believing lies, like I did some times. God showed me not to play a videogame but I thought after one week "It can't be that bad!" and played it daily. The game was TFT = Teamfight Tactics, it might looks harmless but it isn't, it is made by the influence of demons. The whole world lies in wickedness (1 John 5, 19:), which means the whole world is controlled by Satan. Nothing good can come out of this world.
As I played this game daily I could not resist temptations again and thus watched p*rn. And I also had deluded dreams by a demon, I could sense his presence. I didn't wanted to do this (to sin) so I gave up the game after some days and ask for forgiveness. With that I walked in the spirit again and was able to restist all temptations again = I did not watched p*rn anymore. And at this night the Holy Spirit showed me the demon who was in my dreams.
At this night I could not fall asleep because my body could not get warm and I spoke out loud "why do I not get warm?". And in this moment the Holy Spirit showed me the demon and I commanded him in Jesus name to leave and he left. The demon could not enter my dreams because I was Walking in the Spirit again, so he tried to steal my sleep by making my body cold / unable to get warm.
Before I received the Holy Spirit, I had depression and as I slept 8 hours I was not rested but extremely exhausted, powerles. I know today this was the force of a demon, because after I walked in the Spirit and after some time passed God let a demon enter my dreams (because God knew I would overcome him).
The demon made a dream inside a dream and I could not speak in that dream to cast him out. I knew from the beginning the demon was there. So I made myself wake up from the (second) dream so I then was in the (first) real dream. And in this dream the demon was hidding so I could not cast him out, so I made myself wake up and commanded him to leave and he left. I fought against the demon almost the whole night and in this time my body could not rest like as I was depressed. Demons want to make us weak so they can manipulate us more easily. That is also the reason why demons want you to smoke, drink or to do something else that makes you weak.
We Children of God fight against evil spirit, against their lies.
And one lie is that they say we still got the sinful nature after we are reborn. A lie to make people not Walk in the Spirit. Because as we learn in Romans 8 we are not anymore in the flesh but in the Spirit who makes our bodies alive and in Romans 6 we learn that we are through baptism in Jesus a new cration in Jesus, that our old self (with the sinful nature) is dead. The devil does not want us to Walk in the Spirit of Jesus because he then has no power over us. The sin has losts is power over us in Jesus. We Children of God who are born of God got victory by faith.
God is only good, there is no darkness inside of him.
That's the reason why no demon can enter us if we belong to Jesus, because he is the Light of Life and no darkness can exsist in his Light.
The demon who entered my dreams could only enter them because I did not Walked in the Spirit, but he was only in my drams not in my heart where my Spirit is (my true self). And he couldn't enter my dreams anymore as I walked again in the Spirit.
So obey God to be fully protected against the evil forces. Put on the armor of God to resist also the lies of the devil. Read the Word of God so the Holy Spirit can give you the Truth you need to destroy the devils lies.
Where two are more are gathered, Lord Jesus is in the midst.
That is actually the verse of the day Matthew chapter 18:20.

I have been struggling trying to leave my sinful lifestyle. I know for a fact that Jesus is real an that he died on the cross for everybodies sin. But deep down inside of me i dont want to repent of my sins. It is just so hard for me to leave the pleasures of my flesh. I dont know why i cant just take that huge leap of faith that is repentance and not look back. I know that if i dont repent of my sins I will go to hell. We have the writing of the disciples of the Apostles and the disciples of those disciples, and they not only quote much of the New Testament, but all the core idea of Christianty are present. Jesus being God, the Son of God, dying for sins, burial, resurrection, ascension to heaven.
We also have writing of Jewish and Pagan contemporary historians who were hostile towards Jesus, who say the same things : Jesus being worshipped as God, the Son of God, dying for on the cross, burial, resurrection.
The archeology matches the Bible perfectly all the way from Genesis through the New Testament.
It's mainly because of the archeology, "friendly" writers, and "hostile" writers mentioned above that the Jesus Seminar, who are PhD level ashiest/agnostics who study Christ and the Bible, concluded that Jesus really lived in Judea 2,000 years ago, was known as a miracle workers, died on the cross under Pilate, and that his disciples really believed they had seen him risen from the dead.
The fact that there are contradictions between manuscripts is often sited as proof against trusting scripture, when it actually does the opposite. The fact that there are so many manuscripts makes it easy to tell when someone changed one, and modern Bibles are transparent about any differences in the footnotes. Over 5,000 manuscripts in the original Greek and 20,000 in other lanuages. None of those differences found between manuscripts change anything about any core doctrines of Christianity, they are mainly a handwriting error on a letter or a different way to word something that means the same thing. There is 99.5% accuracy between the manuscripts according to scholars.
There is also all the undisigned coincidence between not only the four Gospels, but the rest of the New and Old Testaments too.
Matthew 2:22 talks about Joseph not wanting to return to Judea after fleeing to Egypt because Archelaus was ruling. That's all the info on that the Bible gives. Josephus, the Jewish historian, tells us about the things Archelaus did and how evil he was. Put these two peices of evidence together, we get the full picture.
This sort of thing happens through the text with the seemingly useless details matching up perfectly with extra Biblical sources, lending to the credibility of the text.
The Apostles willingness to be killed not for saying they believed Jesus had risen, but they knew he had risen, because they saw him.
If the tomb wasn't empty, they would've paraded the body around to stomp out any idea of Jesus being ressurrected, but Christianty spread because there was no body in the tomb.
If someone stole the body, why were nearly all the Apostles willing to be killed for saying they'd seen Jesus risen? They were thousands of miles away from one another before phones and the internet and were being threaten, tortured, and murdered for their claim. Not one "broke" and said it was a lie to save themselves.
It's because of the evidence that I believe in Jesus.

@@marcusdixon1 I am Christian I have only really turned to Christ last October and only started attending church around Easter, but I entered the faith through Catholicism and they're pretty big on praying to the saints to intercede for you. So I pray to the archangels not nearly as much as the Lord though.

I feel worse and worse. I feel like he's going to be done with me And I'm going to hell. I always pray and try but I still have a few beers or vape or lust. But I try so hard until I'm tired. But grace abound despite it's not cool to sin. If I try hard I'll sin less but still....works don't get us home but a relationship with the lord Jesus will. In those situations, don’t linger. When you are tempted, it hasn’t become a sin. It becomes sin when you linger and look at it in the manner of sinful desire

You're dealing with a lot. I do pray that you realize you are already loved by God and He wants a relationship with you more than you want one with Him. Just because you have dark fantasies or struggle with things, doesn't mean you're any less worthy of God's love than the next person. I do pray that you press in to the relationship. Note every time you do so, and try and replace those words. It isn't easy, I've struggled with it for a long time too. It takes time, and it will not be easy. But bro, it will be worth it.
Make conscious efforts to not do it. If you understand that the Bible says not to, you may grow to not want to. The Bible says let no foul speech depart from our mouth. Keep that in mind when you want to cuss next time

How do I encourage my family or friends to use words that glorify God?
If they aren’t saved they won’t see the need to not cuss. The Bible says that no foul words or speech should come from our mouths. If they are believers, they should understand these verses and want to try to obey the word of God. Just open the table for discussion.
