Creek fishing is where it's at. I've done it all my life and have stumbled across some amazing holes that are strictly only my son's and my secret.
When Trey handed you his rod and you caught one. It's confirmed Trey is blessed by the fishing gods and anything he touches can catch a fish
I swear, give Tre a shark rod bull gill hook and bait, he’ll catch a bass….give him a ice rod and jig and he’ll catch a bass…heck I’m convinced that you could give him a rubber band nail and a walnut for bait and he’ll catch a bass🤪🤪

I like how he talks about 13 like he’s never seen it before. 13 is goated up north where ice fishing is a big thing. They are starting to become top tier in both soft water fishing and offshore fishing as well. That’s pretty much all I use and I have zero complaints. I just think it’s funny they started as a ice fishing company and they are based in Florida 😂

For a creek rod, hard to go wrong with one of the 4'8" ugly stik ultralight rods, or better yet a light action rod in the 5'6" range. With 6lb test they have enough backbone to handle bigger fish, but still maneuverable wading through the creekbrush.

Dudes!! I fish creeks and rivers up here and Ohio all the time!!! Ultralight poles are the stuff!! 8oz fish feels like an 8 pounder!! My gear ain't ice fishing gear, it's all dock runner stuff and light line but man the fun in it is unbeatable

Do another creek video but get ya a 6’ tfo trout and panfish ul rod with a shimano vanford. Throw some 4-6 pound daiwa samurai on there and you will be hooked on creek fishing. About all I do anymore. I have a 6’ , 6.6’ , and a 7ft in light and ultralight all have vanfords on them. Depending on how bushy it gets determines the length I take. I’m serious. You’ll love it.

@@FishingWithYakPak actually it hurt less (by a little bit) than getting bit by a 110 outlet. But yeah if it had been closer, 🤷. Also you need to walk and cast upstream, you're not spooking the fish and lure is coming downstream like the normal bait would be

@@FishingWithYakPak I miss them. Every afternoon they would form to the north of where I lived near Carrabelle then move south over us then out over the water. Nothing to do during that time so it was nap time. (Back in the 1980s) Now no matter where I am and there is a thunderstorm I feel like taking a nap.
