I built this recently and love it. Thanks so much for the free plans. I absolutely hate cutting plywood and this reduces the pain. I actually put a coat of stain on it so I could leave it outside and not worry about the weather warping the boards. It looks too nice to use now but already started. The lift arm is brilliant. I almost skipped that - so glad I didn't. I had made another attempt at this previously with plywood and 2x4s but it just got too heavy and combersome. This thing is very easy to move around. Also opted to use my plastic saw horses which are a lot like yours. I decided in the end to use them since when they open they have a little platform to put tools on. So I don't have to bend over as far to grab my circular saw.
where can I get the free plans?
I have those saw-horses and made this table last night. I was in a hurry to cut some 3/4 furniture plywood, so only used 2 stringers - 1ft from each end. Notched the 8ft sections down 1 1/2" and notched the stringers 2" using a table saw.I don't have the hook yet but I can tell you this table is amazing for cutting plywood

Thanks for the free plans and great video! I had come up with a more elaborate plan and after seeing your plan, abandoned mine and went for the simplicity and ease of assembly and use.

You obviously get lumber cheaper than I can. Priced at both big orange and big blue stores in my area, the lumber for the top alone is $13.12 for green framing 2x4s (2x 96") and (3x 92"). That doesn't include the cost for the screws, sawhorses (legs) or the j-hook for lifting. If you don't already have the sawhorses, the extra cost for lumber for the legs is gonna push this up to $15-$20
Hey laser that's entirely possible as lumber of course varies from location. I bought economy grade lumber for everything and picked the best of the pile. You probably noticed I ripped all them down to a little under 3" for a clean edge but of course that's not required. Screws and legs were optional so not included in the price. I was under $10 in lumber but honestly probably did not include the bolt for the hook as it was in my bolt bin. So that might bump it a little over. But add legs and you are 100% correct its probably going to be a $15 to $20 table.
