It’s crazy to me that you think you’re not interesting because you’re not out doing tons of exciting activities all the time. I personally find your channel so interesting (and comforting) bc it’s relatable and feels like I have a friend to hang out with while I am also spending time alone in my apartment getting things done
I honestly also really enjoy watching people just doing their normal “mundane” tasks but I didn’t know if people were sick of me just being in my apartment 70% of the time 😭 thank you for this though, this is encouraging ❤
@@HannahElise ❤️❤️
right? i totally agree with this.
This!!!
@@HannahElise I will always advocate for homebodyism.
tbh this is the first everr youtuber i come across who actually implemented what she studied back in college to her current situation/career…so well and strategically… talking about BEAUTY WITH BRAIN! Love this Hannah! 🤍✨
you could also consider going to a library. it’s free, a great working place, and it’s a great resource to support.
So true I’ve been meaning to go to the NYPL for so long!!
@@HannahEliseyou HAVE to go do work in the Rose Reading room at NYPL main library! I moved away but everytime I used to go there, I'd be SO productive. The vibes 🤌🏼✨
I think many people who have chosen to become full-time influencers struggle to produce enjoyable content (in my opinion) post-graduation. Hannah is not one of those people - so grounded, hardworking, and continuing to evolve. Love seeing you continue to put out content that is fun to watch and take the time to explore new projects!!
As a girl in her 20s post grad I always feel so inspired by you week after week. I just got my first job post grad after months of struggling so it sort of feels like we're both starting something exciting and I'm excited to follow this journey you're on
YESSS IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!
You never know who your content is going to reach. My daughter has her own business and sometimes has a conference in NYC. She loves to help other women coming up so I am going to pass on your name to her. Love your enthusiasm.
Wow I appreciate this so much. Thank you!!! ❤ what is her name so I can look out for her?
@@HannahElise Her name is Rachel. I will see her for Thanksgiving so I will run it by her.
Your grind is real, Hannah. From adulting struggles to evolving projects, you're the content queen we stan. Keep dropping those gems, and I'll keep cheering from my chaotic but supportive corner! 🎉
I can totally relate to you! I'm also the girl who doesn't want to talk about "plans" until it's done and "successful". Aside from being afraid of jinxing it, I also have this mindset of not performing 100% and losing interest when I talk to people about it. So I rather be excited and keep it to myself and let the people see the end result than tell everyone around me and show no result at all.
Thank you for being so relatable and being able to explain in words what I feel!
find a library to work at! Bring your own coffee, no pressure to spend money, good vibes, and you’ll feel super productive! I work from home too and getting out of the house can be hard the library has become my fav place to work!
Idk if you’ll see this or not but for the most part of my uni life, I have been enjoying all of your content and found comfort in your videos especially in the morning while I am enjoying my breakfast. But now that I am in my final year, I find myself hoping for a shorter video and I hate it because I really enjoy your content especially when you just sit down and share your thoughts with us ☹️
Ahh Hannah!! I love this so much and I’m so obsessed with your content. You are such an inspiration to me and your videos are always so fun to watch. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
i’m always so inspired by your work and i’m so excited for you and the journey this will take you on !! i’m very similar in the way that i always try to rush myself through new endeavors and this reminded me that it’s okay to slow down, and that trying new things will come with a learning curve that i should let myself enjoy 💓
I normally don't comment on videos, but I just had to say I've been a silent viewer for a LONG time. I'm in the exact same stage of life as you and it feels SO good to see someone finding excitement in their early 20s and making the most of life. Love watching you grow, Hannah!!!!
So proud of you!!! Im so glad you found something you’re passionate about and I can’t wait to watch you go on this journey :)
I am so excited for you Hannah! I think it's really cool that you're discovering a passion project and I hope everything works out for you ❤
Coffee shop alternative: homemade coffee and the library! I’ve tried almost every library location in my city this way, coworking with friends, sometimes even booking a room for a few of us! Anddddd a coffee shop is never too far away for a refill or a snack 😊
i just went through this exact same process of building my website and i also felt like it would be stupid to show the process and i wish i did but i love seeing how you did this!! it's comforting to know there's others in the same exact position im in rn too
Omg Hannah! I am so proud of you and so happy to be with you in this new adventure! I’ve been watching your videos since you were in college and to see how far you’ve come really makes me happy 🥹🫶🏼 I’m a 100% sure that things are gonna work out perfect and I can’t wait to see what you do 💗 (I’m a real one!!)
Your videos have always been and currently are a comfort spot for me which is much needed during my week! Love watching you grow and expand what you’re doing!
I love you and your content Hannah and honestly, I've been watching you for a long time now but this feels so on brand for you. This kind of change could definitely help lead you down other creative avenues. One that wouldn't be focused on you but in service and helping others. As well as force you to be creative in different aspects of creating content for others, with constraints, and designs specific to clients!
I’m so proud of you Hannah! I’ve been watching since your early college days and feel like I’m watching you go through similar processes that I’m experiencing. Thank you for your beautiful content ❤
this was such a fun video to watch! I feel like no one really shows the behind the scenes so was interesting to get your perspective and process as an individual! especially loved the progress you're making on your website. excited to see what's next in your freelance journey!
So happy for you Hannah! You sound so excited to be working on a new project.
I’ve loved your content for a long time and I’m so excited to see where this takes you!!
Hannah, I’m so proud of you for sharing with us that you decided to pursue freelancing! So excited for your journey, sending lots of love and encouragement 🩷
i love how you really explained everything in such a clear way. you stick to doing what makes you happy girl! i have been having these thoughts as well, but i never know where to start. this video just gave me the motivation to go through with it. i wish you the best of the best and do not be afraid to show the world who you really are :)
I’m so happy for you! You put passion into your projects and that’s why the always are a success! Can’t wait to see this one up and running! ❤❤❤❤
I’m so glad you’re going for it!! Thank you for sharing your process. It’s so inspiring.
I'm so happy that our generation is collectively acknowledging the rough patches of being this age because there's so much opportunity for us to do things to help our career and future and because of that it makes life so much harder yet exciting at the same time. And there's so many people doing different things and I was literally talking to my nail tech about this and now seeing this just reminds me of how relevant it is to us. I remember literally having this happen to me a few weeks ago and right after I had the meltdown about it I decided to become more consistent with the career paths I want to go down and I've been seeing progress and it's so nice! I can't wait to see how far you grow with this new journey and trust me you may feel like your life isn't interesting (I think the same thing about myself all the time so I get it) but I love watching your videos and seeing you go through the motions of life because it feels like I'm talking to a friend especially since we're the same age and live in the same city. Keep it going girl you got this!!💗
So reassuring to hear you talk about taking the leap and pursuing your creative passions in a different context than you have before. Just a couple weeks ago I started looking into UGC and product photography as ways to learn more about creative fields I’m already interested in- and I’ve been loving it so far. So much to learn and usually, so much freedom to put your own creative touches on content- something I believe you do so well. I hope you find the creative rejuvenation you’re looking for.
With love, a fellow creative xx
I'm soooo happy for you Queen 👑!!! Hope everything goes as plan and we will be right here to support you! Looove you Queen 💗
I hear that re not telling people about something until its complete. I don’t usually do it, but I made the error of telling a few people that I was going to have a certain guest on my channel - but it has now been delayed 😑😄😮💨
All the best with the new project! 🙌🏾
she is an 👏entre👏pre👏neur👏 so pumped to see where this goes !
She is trying 😅😅😂
this is amazing Hannah!! Congrats, your work ethic and creativity are inspirational! Can’t wait to continue following along ❤
You’re content is so so good and so inspiring. Keeps me watching the whole timeee! I love cosy CZcams vibes
I’m so happy for you Hannah!!! I’m sending the best energies on your new project, I know you can go far ❣️
that’s awesome, im so proud of you!! i know it can be so hard to find your groove post grad, no matter what your career is! so i’m proud of your hardwork to figure out what you want!! ✨💗
I’m so proud of you Hannah. For being a starter in graphic design, I will also throw and see if it sticks. Anything works right now, building freelance business too! These things will help. ❤ I love you Hannah.
I love YOU! Thank you ❤
Hannah I’m SO HAPPY FOR YOU! 🥹 you’re going to absolutely slay these new avenues I just know it! I had a similar feeling last year, I knew I loved my own CZcams channel but wanted to be apart of something larger than myself. I loved the editing process so much that I started freelance editing for CZcamsrs and now I couldn’t be happier balancing both! You got this queen, can’t wait to follow along on your journey! ❤
Hannah, I think I've been subscribed for a little over 4 years now, so back when you and I were both in college. You remind me so much of myself, and when I watched your 20's discussion video, I felt like you were in my own mind reading my own thoughts back to me. You're now pursuing freelance media as a career, which is what I've been wanting to do, but I lack the push to do it. I'm excited to follow your journey and use you as inspiration to finally achieve my career goal. Just wanted to say thank you. ♡
We're literally the same age and your videos have been incredibly inspiring. I'm about to graduate uni and have been having an early quarter life crisis, trying to understand what I really want to do. I've always been changing my plans based on the people around me and once I realized this I was PETRIFIED. Really did not know what I wanted for myself, for my life. Your latest vids have helped me so much in understanding that I'm not alone in this and that it's never too late to do changes in your life ❤❤❤
Absolutely loved this video and so excited for your journey!😊 As someone who has been watching you for years and listens to the podcast and want to expand her art business in the next years, the video was reall cool
Just a thought for the coffee shop conundrum - you can chug one of your own right before going so you get the energy and then enjoy “babysitting” one at the coffee shop. Save a little money
Love you so much Hannah! It's amazing to see you expanding your horizons 💫💫
What I do to get a burst if energy without spending so much on 2 coffees is to get a expresso or double expresso with nothing added to chug. It might taste very bitter but it will have the same effect. And then i get my "babysitting" coffee with all of my added things. Love your videos :)
This was an amazing video and also very inspiring! I was recently laid off and am trying to get into full time content creation. So much of what you said resonated with me! Thanks for sharing and I’ll be praying for the success of your new venture!
Girl, I feel you. I have never related to someone so much in my life before. I am 21 and I’m stuck with what to do in life. Like you said, what the f*ck are we supposed to do? Thank you for talking about that and inspiring me to do something new!
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences and bring us along, Hannah! I love that you're working on a project that's bringing you so much joy and that you're taking the time to enjoy the process. I can't wait to see where it goes. As someone who works remotely and also is prone to not leaving my apartment, I love co-working so much. Have you thought about checking out libraries or even University spaces you could work at for free (and maybe bring your own coffee)? I did that over the summer with a few friends and it was lovely.
this is so cool. I love your video style, and the Idea that ads and stuff like that, become more creative is amazing. Like the turn from fully professional/sharp to a more realistic/creative/art inspired style makes me excited:)
You've totally got this. We're all here for you and supporting you with love ❤️
this sounds amazing i can't wait to see where this goes for you!! i love the coffeeshop idea and i do that sometimes as well (sometimes because it do be preicey), but if you want to get out of the house more than once a week maybe try libraries with like, work areas, you might be able to bring a snack and /or coffee.
good luck with this
I agree that some plans should just be kept private until they are fulfilled but a long journey like this is so fun and inspiring to get to follow along ✨💖 thank you for sharing!
I'm SO EXCITED FOR YOU HANNAH. I know you'll be successful in this new project just like you are in many aspects of your life. Best of luck queen, love you
I’m so excited for you Hannah! This really does incorporate a lot of the stuff you talked about from college, and it seems like a natural next step!
Thank you!! I feel like it is too, and I’m really excited to see what I learn from it :)
I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!! so excited for this journey❤ love you lots xo
This video has been very encouraging to me. I'm 22 and just graduated, and my desire is to develop myself as an event planner/coordinator. As of right now, I am freelancing, and at the moment that feels like the right thing to do. This whole video both action and words is exactly how life has been for me lately. It's awesome to see someone my age navigate a freelance career in something, hoping for the best and taking it one day at a time. Also, I can totally relate to that feeling of buying something to advance your work (i.e. me with a trolly to move event equipment haha). Thank you!
This is so exciting! I love that you're branching out into something new and challenging. You're going to do amazing!! Super inspiring video by the way 😊
I’m a real oneee and I can’t wait to see what you do!! I also do freelancing to get my creative junkie out since I work a 9-5 as well. I’m so excited for you!!!
I'm so proud if you Hannah and I can't wait to see where this new adventure takes you!
Thank you so much 🥺🥺
Your Vlogs are always so calming to me and so relatable! One of my favorite CZcamsr!
So happy for you girrl. It’s so funny cause I’m doing something similar and it’s hard when you’re not that well known, but I wish you the best of luck❤️❤️
You’re in you’re 20s, it’s a perfect time to find out what you want. You’re still really young and, spoiler, we don’t all get it together magically. Life is messy and sometimes you may feel a little lackluster. That’s totally normal, but glad you’re being proactive with trying to sort it out. A lot of people just wait for “something” to happen and then BOOM- 50 and still in the same boat. Rooting for you! 🙌🏼
I totally understand the feeling lost and confused in your 20s. I am going through something very similar right now. I actually shoot weddings on the side, and we use that same stabilizer so good choice! I admire your drive to go after your own business. My confusion has manifested into starting ballet classes. :)
Hi Hannah Elise! I love how you're using your creativity and strategic thinking for your freelance work and graphic design projects.
It's great that you're using the tools you'd learn in college to create your business.
Good luck!❤❤❤😊😊🌷🌷💜❤
I have faith in you!🌠🌠🌟♥️🌺
I also am in the videography world! My biggest piece of advice is to get an internship. I have been working in videography for years, but putting yourself in different environments and working with different people really gives you a good sense of how different people work, and what equipment they use, what kind of cameras they use, it was a really great experience for me, and eventually led to me making more money because I had more experience under my belt. Internships won’t always be paid, but I seem to gain more experience during my internships, and when I had actual work experience. I would actually love to collaborate and share experiences and videography, I am also looking into freelancing now/starting a CZcams channel because my 9 to 5 is not paying the bills. This video world is so fun!
I’m always happy for a new hannah’s upload ❤
This video is pretty nice. You did a great job in this video. I’ve been subscribed to your CZcams channel for 3 years. As always you’re the real one 🙂
I don't usually comment, but I just wanna say, I love your content. You give out such positive vibes no matter what you're talking about. Really love watching your vlogs.
this is so exciting to watch and im so proud of your for using those feelings to channel your creativity into a productive and fun outlet!!
Definitely just go for your ideas. I freelanced my in marketing/ content creation so the need is there. I stopped for about a year to balance out my work schedule but I am starting to do it again in 2024. Like you said , it’s cool to just ask the creatives you see about their gear/process. Most are eager to share.
I also do festival content from time time and it’s definitely fun and creative. You just reminded me to set up my gimbal 😅
Tbh I go through these phases where I binge watch your videos and then I don’t watch for like a year then I come back. I completely forgot you studied marketing and it’s perfect ‘cause I started studying marketing too
So smart to incorporate your talents and creativity. I'm older and seeing women your age taking risks, is so promising. I don't think influencing will be a true career for most, BUT being a business owner and a creative will give you a lot of options going forward. 🎉
Very cool at what you’re working on. I feel like I’ve been trying to figure it out forever. I recently started doing video editing and so far enjoying it.
this video was so motivating and inspirational!! thank you so much Hannah for sharing your journey!!
Girl, I feel the same about content creating. Thank you for sharing your story. ❤
It's so cool to start with it and I'm actually so happy for u. Go for it girrrl!
OBSESSED!!!! Best of luck with this, you're gonna kill this, Hannah
pausing to pose a suggestion for ur coffee shop gripe! if you want to keep saving on coffee by making it at home, you could always try meeting up w friends at local libraries !! i feel like they give the same vibe as working in a cafe, if you can find the right space haha
Hannah I loved loved loved this video! I'm trying to start up a brand so I loved seeing your process.
YOU GO GIRL!! :) So proud of you.
I literally loved this video!!! I felt so inspired after watching!!!
That’s amazing!!! 💕💕👏👏👏 you got this!! Be gentle on yourself, you have tons who support you!!
This means the world to me truly. Thank you ❤
You already know…I’m a real one. 🤪 It’s so fun coming along your journey as you continue to grow and explore new adventures, Hannah! I can’t wait to see where this next path takes you. Your content creation and editing style is special - share it girlie! You’ve got this. Wishing you the best of luck in this new endeavor! 💖
"im a real one" :D So happy for you, seems to be right up your alley this new " gig" of yours, or what we are calling it. Keep it cosy
I was thinking when you was talking about your goal of getting out of the house more but that coffee was very expensive that maybe you could do something like go to the park and lay out a blanket to work but bring your own coffee from home in a thermas so it will stay hot or cold how ever you want it. Another thought I had was that maybe you could rent a small office space there in New York so that you would be separating home and work. Cash Jorden is on CZcams and he knows all about rental everything in New York . ❤ ya girly. Your doing a great job .
I love that Charlie has her own water glass on your bedside table 😂 rooting for you, you got this!
Yes! Feeling excited and happy and ready!
5 mins and I'm like 'Hannah, just say it!' haha I'm excited for you!!
so unbelievably excited for you. Im a real one!
that is very cool that you are venturing out into videography! it's always great to hone in on your skills that you've learned in school and put it into practice! i hope you enjoy the process and love what you do!
this is so cool! in another life, i'd be doing something similar. love your website!
When you go to a coffee shop, get a shot of espresso and throw that thing back then get your normal coffee to sip on while you work!
btw one tip for your videography, if you use your phone lowering the FPS can help stabilise the footage so there's less hand-held movement (you can obviously also edit this in final cut but it tends to look pretty warped)
oh the moment you say in 3:25 really hit me! cause i the past month i have been trying my best to take a break from the the same mindset too like i'm trying to learn that it is okay to celebrate the process too!! i feel so validated & feel like i'm not alone in this journey thanks to you 🥹💗! you got this hannah! im sure you will
Omg small world!!! I was a marketing major too & I am freelancing before graduate school starts!!! ✨ I recommend getting connected with a magazine or news outlet for gigs!
Hannah, you are UNSTOPPABLE 🤍
You know it’s a good day when Hannah posts a new video.
the home depot music when you're unboxing the gimble made me laugh so hard hahaa good luck with your freelancing that's a really exciting thing to do!!
Hannah this is so cool and I wish you the best of luck ❤
What about going to the public library to work sometimes? No coffee purchase necessary. You could bring your own coffee. Just a suggestion if you're worried about the cost of doing so at a coffee shop all the time.
That is such a great idea!
