- In this video, we painted our rims black. In the future, we will purchase aftermarket rims for the build so please comment, like and subscribe.
items needed for painting rims black.
Sandpaper, tape, paper or plastic bags, your desired paint colour and primer if you are painting steel rims.
We opted for Satin black rims so we utilized the Dulux Duramax Satin Black spray paint and did not need to prime. Priming steel rims after sanding and before painting is recommended.
We still have plenty of mods to come.

😂 that is hilarious . I have been planning a video on the callipers but I need to do some more research on what paint to use that will last. And then also the colour choice is hard.

@@OnlyMods it was my first vag vehicle, I just bought it. I will convert to GTI(bodykit) but the car is 1.4 gasoline so ı am not sure about that :D
Oh nice I like the WRC front bumper kit for the polos but they are very pricey, I' have the 1.2 tsi petrol, I would prefer the gti engine or the 1.8t engine
looks good! you should get some carbon fiber wrap for the wing mirrors and a gloss black wrapped roof top!
Oo yes that is not a bad idea, I have seen a few nice polo builds with the black roof wrap and it looks really nice. I'm just curious to see how hot the car roof will get during summer here in Western Australia.
I might need to test it.

Thank you for the comment no still riding with stock suspension, I would love to put bags in but they cost an arm and a leg. I like the lowered look but still want the comfortability of good suspension on country roads. Do you have a lowered polo?
What's the paint name ?
I used dulax satin black non drip formulations. If you watch my vw polo black out badge video. I use the same paint in there and have the paint can displayed properly so you can read it.

Hi there thank you for the comment. No I am unsure of the exact name of them but they were an option on the mk5 vw polo. They are 17 inch alloys.
Bumber kit ?
Yes I would like to get a WRC front bumper with a 2015 polo rear bumper, I'm currently on the hunt for a wrc front bumper thats second hand that won't break the bank. The front of the car is still extremely stock. I can not wait for the vland headlights to arrive 😍, should hopefully be here mid July.
I have a few more small mods coming I think within the next 4 -6 videos I should have a front bumper, even if I start with a 2014 polo front bumper to give it a little facelift. Then when I find an affordable wrc bumper upgrade to that.
