if you read this comment you can download with mozilla not chrome
How are you doing such smooth lines? Even with stabilization on 40, my lines are so shaky..
Hi, do you use graphics tablet? because your lines are sooo PURFECT! Whenever I draw using correction (5-40) I still dont get perfect lines...
Question is it possible to get that intro scene like watchable in yutube or downloadable the intro scene of the video like in the road raining....and i really liked the tutorial

This is the first time I'm watching her video and it's the best tutorial I have ever seen

Uh, no. I barely understand how she does that lineart, mine has been ugly all these 2 years i had my tablet.
Agreed

I don't speak english, but she talks so calm that I can understand 90% of the words that she says, and I absolutely love her for that. Thank you, Jyundee, for your free classes. This is so precious.
Another solid video!
Btw, may I suggest a tutorial vid on how you paint/draw backgrounds?
As a beginner to digital art, I've been having trouble creating backgrounds, particularly, those that convey certain moods: Melancholic, Cheerful, Joyful, Mellow, Anger etc.
my way in making background is very eazy and give a great results all you have to do is to open punch of a images that u want to make background house + tree+ whatever u want or one picture can do but with many make it unique and it s better if it was real photo not a drawing then make a new white layer and start drawing on the top of it then color it choosing the right color
Me too ! I don’t know how to flip image nor move parts of drawing
@stxr tracing is a good way to start drawing. It helps you get a headstart on basic anatomy and proportions so in the future you can draw your own. Tracing backgrounds is fine, but tracing someone else's art and posting it as yours is a big no-no.
I’m so happy to se that you do your lineart that way.
I’ve always seen all these artists say you have to do your line art in one continuous line blah blah
And I all I can think is, WHAT ARE YOU DOING THE DONT PICK UP YOUR PEN OFF THE CANVAS CHALLENGE FORGET THAT /
I can’t always make perfect strokes >: /
No , the way I do line art is more like you, just carefully going along the sketch.
Grrrr here I thought all this time there was only “ ONE TRUEEE WAY “ to do line art according to what other artists say but watching you made me realize that the way I do line art is valid too.
I do line art in a similar way as you because it feels right and I enjoy doing it that way more as opposed to the stupid “ oh you gotta do the line art lines in perfect strokes blah blah” I don’t have anything against the people who can do that, but I have a big problem with people who insist that’s the one true way to do line art.
This right here is so true. I myself draw traditionally and i almost never do single stroke lines. I tried translating this to digital art and found that everyone says to keep deleting your lines if they aren't how you like it. It seems extremely tedious and its a breath of fresh air to see that an amazing artist (probably one of the top ones on youtube) uses that approach to drawing digitally.
there is NEVER only one method to do anything, especially in art, never forget that. also, although i mostly draw traditionally, i dont line in one continuous line. i like to get up close and carefully trace over my sketch, sometimes i go over the same like to thicken it, sometimes i dont even line small sections to vary it and make it look more interesting/realistic
Man I thought the same thing. I've been struggling with my drawings for ages because I've never been able to do lineart perfectly in one go even with like maximum line correction. Really a discouraging feel and made me start to think my hands must just be too broken for digital or something lmao. Glad to see that's not the case.
You're misunderstanding her lineart technique. Her lines aren't a matter of not being able to use broad strokes (her sketch and some of her lineart is proof she can). They're all deliberate. She's perfecting the line quality by adjusting weight and thickness deliberately when she does her "scratching".
If you can't do single, deliberate lines right now, don't let yourself be complacent. I see amateur artists, time and time again, end up settling with less-than-stellar line work because they think the best they can do is scratch an approximation. It's similar to artists that always ask me "why does my sketch always look better than my lineart?" when it doesn't, but the scratchy nature of the sketch tricks their minds into approximating where the line is supposed to be without making that line itself.
You can do it, though! Drill yourself! If you struggle making straight lines or arched lines, then draw a bunch of single-stroke, straight/arched lines on paper or your tablet, maybe 10 minutes a day, every day. Start short, then get longer and longer. Don't ctrl+alt+delete because you want to see your progress. Leave your mistakes. It'll probably be nothing but mistakes to start. That's okay. You'll improve, trust me.
Once you have this down, you can refine it into something better, like this youtuber. Good luck!

0:48 "Don't really worry if it's messy" You've gotta be kidding me, that's already 5 times better than anything I can do
I'm a traditional artist and have never tried digital before. Recently my mental health had prevented me from doing my art so I decided to give digital a go, for someone who literally knows nothing about digital art your tutorials have been so helpful and thorough. Thank you!
I know right. Same here.
your voice is so calming
I thought it was just me
You keep saying you're not good at explaining but honestly, when I first discovered you I was instantly relieved over the fact that you go through the steps and explain why you're doing what you're doing. You're a good artist and tutor, d/w.
The infos you're giving is so helpful. I was struggling with digi art on how to really begin and your vids along with simpler explanation are a real great help to make me understand more. Thank you so much!
Hello Ms. Jyundee! I just wanted to say, your tutorials are really enlightening. I know this is an older video and I am just NOW commenting. I just started in my art adventure last December and I got my tablet around 2 weeks ago. I am learning SO much from your videos (using same program). When I do watch them I go "Ohhh, so that's how it's done!" or "Omg, I have been so blind all this time!"
So, I just wanted to say to keep on doing that you do. You are one of the most descriptive giving tutorial makers in this field I have watched, and one of my favorites too. Thank you for being a blessing!
Wth I was literally just looking for tutorials on how to do lineart.. great timing :D thanks for this super helpful tutorial!
I love this tutorial. I just came from another tutorial that frustrated me, which pretty much told me "just make a clean line" but you demonstrated how you can like art making small strokes and that's AWESome
Wow I love the way you draw hair!! So natural and flowy
Thanks, I had just bought my drawing tablet and find it really hard to create clean lineart, seeing your tutorial gave me a lot of insights
you are an absolute blessing, I was looking for a lineart method that worked for me for SO LONG!! i cant thank you enough, my friend

Your tutorials are always so detailed. Thanks for putting your process out there for us to see. :)
You’re the only artist I subscribe and I’m NOT disappointed,, I STAN TALENT 👌 THANKS FOR THE VIDEO IT’S DEFINITELY GONNA HELP 💜💛
Thanks so much for this! Personally I just started digital art switching from traditional it's been rough lol so it'll be a nice experience to get an more in depth look at how others line art in medibang.
I was about to sleep but then I saw this on my notification bar..
so I guess just one more video...
I absolutely adore your voice! beijos!

This is very helpful. Glad I've found your tutorials. I've just started with medibang as well and look forward to improving my digital art.
I really loved this one, especially since you went much more indepth and you also recorded it a bit louder which is a great improvement. Thanks so much for sharing your process and walking us through, I cannot wait to improve and watching your beautiful art is such an inspiration!
this is soo helpful! I was actually debating whether or not to paint with line art. Your video REALLY helped me decide! I think I'll stick with line art for now before jumping straight to painting
Your tutorials are always very helpful (because I use medibang too) and very pleasing to see. Thank you for your time and effort to explain us how you do things ❤️
Omg teaching me what the protect alpha option does really saved my life!! Now I don’t have to struggle making colorful line-art TYSM
Thanks you so much Jyundee ! Have a great day you too !

Thank you for this since Im a newbie and was trying to do smoother lineart and this helped me
This was really helpful! Thanks so much for making this vid! and let me just add on that your voice is very calming and relaxing to listen to
Be more braver when putting down or altering line work is a very strong point you are hinting at.
A very good tips and tricks video!
I also usually do only a rough sketch and paint over it but that video motivated me to work harder on my linearts. Thanks you!
Your lineart is absolutely wonderful! ❤ And I admire how you allow others to use your lineart. 😊
when confident artists do tutorials i find that they assume that everyone who is watching their tutorial knows what they're talking about and it's refreshing to find someone that actually explains things
Thanks for the help! I've been working on digital art and have been having the hardest time with lineart. Your tip of having smaller strokes but zoomed in is so simple but I think it will help a lot!! I'm going to give it a try tonight
Thank you so much for your tutorial, I am used to making digital art on my phone and now that I got a pen tablet I am really lost with the LineArt work, this is really helpful 😄😄
that "correction" tip, really made me happy. I use a mouse and lots of curve snaps
As a beginner digital artist, I always struggled with lineart but this video helped me so much!!!

Really helpful!
I always use the pen tool because I thought the pencil was only for sketching. I like the softer/thinner feel that you're lineart has. Next time, I'm gonna try doing this too. :) thanks!!
You draw so well. I'm just starting out with digital Art, only drawn on paper up to now, mostly with pencil and crayons. But I couldn't even draw such a good sketch and such a nice person on paper to be honest, let alone digitally. ^^ I generally use the eraser a lot and am always amased at people who can just draw something that more or less instantly looks good. Thx for the tutorial anyway, I'll have to give it a go!
You inspire me so much! My profile picture is one I did based off one of your tutorials! Thank you so much 💕

Thank you so much for making these videos. You’re so helpful :)
Thanks a lot, really, this helps me so much with my struggle in lineart, thanks againn
Your lines are so delicate! They remind me of Yoshitaka Amano's style.
Very clear and helpful tutorial, thank you!
The line art alone is very attractive! In fact, you could even leave out the feathering in the hair and it would be a lovely statement. Your color paintings are of course beautiful, too. ;)
I lost motivation to draw but I saw your video and wanna try drawing again! I'm gonna grab my pen and gonna practice! Love your arts
Amazing Art
Your voice melted my hearttt
