Dang i thought this was going to be a pitch black map where only the cars had headlights that lit up a small frame in front of them. Maybe make the ball a light glow in the dark since ball cam exists anyway.

Okay so I read the video title and this isn't what I imagined. I think it would be really cool to have a dark map but have headlights to be able to see

The title made me think of something entirely different, also gave me an awesome idea for a map. Rocket League in the dark, basically the boost pads and the cars are the only light sources, so you have to be pretty close to the ball and players to really see them well, like, if a player is stationary you wouldn’t be able to see them, would be ideal if you could turn off opponent player banners.

i think the strat for this map is to set match time to about 2:45 or so, so that way if it enters overtime it doesnt feel as bad (as the winning side)

This is such a cool idea.
I think Epic games did well with making a change or update that wasnt just more accessory for the car.
They decided to add the boost meter in the nameplate, maybe it didnt get received well, but i think it is the first sound an attempt, for a while.
I think Lethamyr brings up a good point to have that for rumble, but im uncertain if he supports it's current use for the boost. That would add an entire layer for team plays with knowing which item your team mate has.
That would probably bring back to the game, and bring new people in, making that game mode more fun, more competitive, it could put life back into Rocket League, in my opinion.
Also, one of the best videos, for gameplay, ive seen in a while.

Rocket league but the speed of the goal = the speed of the cars
This would be a sick game mode in actual RL.
Build a Mario level where you have to hit the ball like Mario would jump, so it has to land on a tiny island in a pit, warp down pipes, avoid enemies etc.

game idea : rocket league in the dark??? the headlights on the field shut off every 15-20 seconds. like playing in complete darkness with just the light of the ball to go off of, is that even possible?
He did a 1v1 with Rapid where their screens would randomly go pitch black for a few seconds.
I don't know how difficult it would be to shark implement this but when a light get taken out the area in fort of it until mid field get slightly darker
How about next time, you could make the lights work like... Lights? Sk at the game's near end, everyone just stumbles in the darkness😅

I was hoping that the map would get darker and darker the more light were out. Like it would almost be pitch black at 4 light or less. Maybe just the ball keeps the little lights on so players can see where it is.

Would it be possbile that when you turn off all the lights, that side of the field turns completely dark? And in order to score you need to hit goal in some random place you cannot see either. Just thinking...
You know what would be really cool? Leth takes his favorite maps or modes and creates a tourney for his viewers where they have to go through different rounds with different modes. Like quarter final is infiniba semi final the worst map with the weird bounces and final something else. Winner gets a small price or maybe winner takes on the final boss lethamyr himself

I'm not sure if y'all have done this already, but how about a map with the goals in the corner?
The thumbnail for this video is great. The high contrast, it's Simple, but I wouldn't say it's a Scam
Imagine a larger map designed for 4 vs 4, but each person is in different sections of the map. So each section is a 1v1, but the ball can go through the barriers.
Maybe have barriers for the goals, then the sections could spread across the field horizontally to the nets.
Their Free for All air hockey map was kinda like that. The puck speed was set so high that they couldn't leave their corners for fear of getting scored on.
Map idea, realistic night light map. Got to use those car headlight.

Can you make a map with like 12 to 15ppl and simular to ur hide and seek maps but in the dark?
What if the map was pitch black and the only thing to cast light was the ball and the goals so you couldnt see when the opponent was challenging or who was on the ball?
this would've been way cooler if the lights were dynamic and it would actually get dark on the field to the point it would be hard to see
