- A full run of my Whirlpool! NOTE that this video is not spliced together with repeated segments - it is a FULL 2 HOUR continuous recording. All of my videos are continuous recordings.
I have a leak in my drain under the sink, and this can be heard close to the 1 hour mark. I woke up to find water all over the kitchen!

Equipment used: Rode NT5 x2, Shure SM7 with Presonus Tube preamp/60's vintage Sylvania tube (placed under sink to pick up low frequency rumblings and water spatterings), Tascam DP24.

I'm a connoisseur of relaxation / asmr water sounds -- this is one of the best. The recording quality puts you inside the dishwasher. The story of the leak is sad, but funny too!
Thank you for your comment, I try to emphasize audio quality in my videos. Everything here is recorded with professional equipment and techniques. There was a Shure SM7 mounted underneath the sink to pick up the rumblings of the drain, and that was mixed in with the stereo pair in front of the dishwasher.

Good job! I love this dishwasher. This is the first generation of Whirlpools tall tub dishwashers, otherwise called the “Point Voyager” dishwashers. The point voyager machines were spread across to their other brands like Kitchenaid Maytag Kenmore…I have a 2009 Maytag jetclean all stainless in and out it’s gorgeous and I love it. It’s the same as this machine just with Maytag badges and styling if you will
My mommy told me that dishwasher makes a Chammwah Chammwah Sound when draining
One of ours used to say that. And then at the end, the "voice" would get scratchy.. ChamWa a a a a a... Like it was gonna cough or something. That's how you knew it was almost done. I hated that sound, bc it meant cartoons were about to be interrupted😒.

If you still have this dishwasher, I'd like to hear it with cascade power dry rinse aid in the designated rinse aid dispenser along with cascade citrus breeze detergent on normal, high temp and heat dry active.
I don't like using rinse aids, I make sure to pull everything out before the water has had a chance to dry and leave spots. The washer is already on high temp scour/sani rinse/air dry.. that's why the cycle took over 2 hours.

@@jeromedavis8575 Safeway generic dishwasher gel. There's also a half empty bottle of Finish under the sink.
@@ambientstereorecordings3528 I use Cascade complete in citrus breeze detergent gel and Cascade power dry rinse aid. I'd like to hear some finger tapping/rolling recordings on something with both hands, such as a table, washer, dryer, etc with both hands.
@@jeromedavis8575 Noted.. I have a whole list of videos I would like to make, but I have a full time job that takes up most of my time these days. Still planning a Dryer video, another shower video, and a number of ASMR videos (although those don't get as many views as my appliance-related videos).
