Can we talk about how Chopper had that ability called Scope when he could pinpoint an enemy's weakpoint?
I think we only seen him use it a couple of times post ts. I think people forget about it. it almost seems like a form of observation haki mixed with devil fruit ability. even tho I know it's not true but it just seems like a possibility..

He only seems to use it in his brain point and not as often as he used to. It might help him against his opponents in the future, but I don't expect it to help him against a Yonko. They are kind of difficult to fight against.

I think Chopper in his human form is covered in fur because usually Zoan users in full transformation keep their hair (ie. Dalton and Page 1) but since Chopper is a reindeer covered in fur that and his antlers carry through to his transformed state giving him a yeti like appearance.

Here's how I think Chopper's powers work:
Every Zoan Fruit comes with some level of strengthening based on the animal the fruit is about. Usually it's physical strength, durabilty and speed, seeing how so many animals rank so much higher proportionally compared to us humans.
So most Zoan fruits basically have the task: give the user animal characteristics and make them physically stronger. Maybe give them the additional intelligence of that animal if needed (Lassoo, Funkfried and possibly Pierre).
But with the Hito Hito No Mi, it has to give the user the biggest intelligence boost of them all so far, so some of that human form gets sacrificed in favor of brains, a humans greatest weapon, which is why Heavy Point only looks about 90% human.
This is why I believe Chopper eating the fruit at a young age and Brain Point being so small are unrelated. The hybrid Zoan form is always about bringing the very best out of the fruit. In most cases that involves becoming a superstrong monster, but with Chopper's hybrid form, all that power is focussed into the brain and only the brain, which explains his rather miniscule body.
Despite what people may argue about Choppers forms, Brain Point IS the best the Hito Hito No Mi could achieve on it's own. It's where he does most of his medical work and is definitely what enabled him to create the Rumble Ball in the first place. All his new forms and accomplishments can be traced back to that little form.
Now, about the Rumble Ball and the wavelengths of Devil Fruits:
I always imagine those as a line with one curve. One end is Walk Point, the other end Heavy Point and the curve is the inbetween Brain Point. Using the Rumble Ball increases the amount of curves in that line, essentially turning into a wavy/zig-zag pattern. Each of those new curves is where Chopper developed a new form (Jumping, Guard, Arm etc.) and his control over the strengthening gets refined for the duration of the drug.
(Jumping Point = focussing it into the legs
Guard Point = focussing it into the fur
Arm Point = focussing it into the arms
Horn Point = focussing it into the antlers
Kung Fu Point = focussing it into arms and legs evenly)
Monster Point is that concept put to the extreme.
To put that into perspective, let's say Chopper's base power is at a value of like 10 and the Rumble Balls are basically power multipliers of x2, one would increase his level to 20, a second to 40 and a third to 80. So not only does his power grow with each, but also the amount by which it increases.
And in order to create all that strength, the fruit exchanges the intelligence in favor of it, which is why Chopper is basically at caveman intelligence whenever he loses control.
After the timeskip, it seems like he manages to balance out the power/intelligence ratio, so I believe that this smart Monster Point isn't nearly as powerful as the rampaging variant. The most impressive feat of physical strength at the hands of this form was when Franky lifted and threw that ginormous iceberg on Punk Hazard, AFTER losing control.
Interesting analysis. it is quite enjoyable to explore these things.
Towards the EoS I would love it if Oda released an actual copy of the devil fruit encyclopaedia

I think the most reasonable explanation as to why choppers still hairy when he turns into a "human" form is because zoens don't take away from the person's body they add to it(wings, tails, fur) they are all additions so since chopper already had fur it can't be taken away and instead is incorporated into the transformation

@@shainiecemccarty9645 well, I have been thinking about it. I don't think manipulation of the gears work since gear 3 and 4 rewrite the addition of air. I think the rumble would directly affect his rubber manipulation.
So possible points: bounce point. His body would become more bouncy increasing his mobility. Kind of like Bellamy.
Stretch point. He'll be able to just stretch any part of his body at will. Right now he has to use muscles and momentum to stretch. But what if a single line just pops out of any part of his body like a tentacle?
Mold point: he'd be able to reshape his body at will.
I'm sure Oda and Toei would make a killing if they released an encyclopedia on all devil fruits.

I believe I've asked this before but if someone had the powers of two zoan fruits would they have a chimera form and a chimera hybrid form as well as the other forms or would they be stuck with the base, hybrid and full animal forms of each fruit? In one dubbing I saw Chopper referred to his hybrid form as brain point. It was the anime but I think it was during the fight with that swamp cloud burger guy in the skypiea Arc
I think Oda confirmed at some point that Chopper's Monster Point is part of it's Awakening. He said that the demon guards are all Awakened Zoans and while Chopper has not Awakened his fruit, he can access it's Awakening through the use of Rumble Balls. I think generally Zoan-types become the most powerful version of their animal forms when they Awaken, which often includes human characteristics to make them stronger. The most powerful form of a human is a Giant, which is why Chopper gets so big with Monster Point!
Choppers' rumble balls allow him adjust the wavelenght of his devil fruit. This should give him access to different forms and classes of humans in the one piece world [long arm tribe (arm point), long leg tribe (jump point), giant tribe (monster point), long neck and probably even tontatta etc.

20:00 The "enlightened" part was a mistranlation. Oda said that if a human ate the Human-Human fruit, they'd become "More human" which was meant as a troll answer. Go and see 2Spookies video explaining it.
The way I explain it is "If you add sugar to a bowl of sugar, you get sugar that is more sugar than before" and I feel that applies to all Zoans when they'd be consumed by their own species.
Another weird quirk about Chopper's fruit is that its the only Zoan we have seen where, when incapacitated or unconcious, he reverts to his hybrid, while others will go to their original form

I think I have a theory as to why Chopper looks like a Yeti in his full transformation. I like to think that devil fruits are semi optimized for humans. The reason I think so is because Pierre also looked like his transformation wasn't perfect. With inanimate objects they often look off as well, but some are 'correct' looking. I think that because they're more of a 'blank slate' if that makes sense.

My favorite idea for the rumble ball, that it is keyed specifically to chopper only. So that in the event that somebody else took one, they wouldn't go into monster point, but instead would end up acting just like chopper! 🤣
love Chopper so much that I named my cat that I got when I moved away from home after him. He was a chocolate brown maine coon who was afraid of everything in the beginning. Today he is a big cat and he is not afraid of anything besides being left alone so the name still fits ;)
