And her voice was better back Than for certain songs. Tameka was also in the spot light and had parts. Kandi and Latocha was made to be the leaders of the group

I wish Tamika the very best. I agree with a lot of the comments here that most Xscape fans were well aware that Tamika's voice is amazing. She has great pitch and control. I think all of the ladies of Xscape are very talented and their voices blend very well together.
Anyone who didn’t know she could sing must didn’t grow up during the 90’s Xscape era or been to a concert. Or recognized her in the Tyler Perry play. I’ve always thought she & Tiny were the best singers in the group & neither felt the need to do too much to display it. Tamika did a remake of Go Outside in the Rain & it is 🔥. She has the video on CZcams & the song is on Spotify.

I do Not like when interviewers have a guest on the show especially a Legend and they don’t do their homework like I get it Maino it’s women but damn just don’t show up or don’t talk because Tameka had to spend most of her interview answering the Same questions over and over again I can see why celebrities stopped doing interviews like atleast watch the last couple interviews they previously did so you can be updated and come up with some new questions and as an Excape fan from when I was 11-13 yrs old Everybody knew that All 4 girls could blow which is what made the different so when ppl say Oh I didn’t know Tiny could sing sing or Oh Tameka can sing it’s like Why the heck would Kandi and Tocha split their money with ppl that can’t sing I’m like they literally used to sing without music playing just their perfect blend of vocals them and Boyztomen was known for that
I don't believe for one second that Tamika didn't think she could sing smh. When Xscape did the interview with Andy Cohen back in 2017, he asked them who was the Best singer in the group and Tamika was the first person to respond saying, "I am", without hesitation. Does that sound like someone who is not confident in their vocals? Tamika always knew she could sing, but Latocha has the better voice and that's why Producers would want Latocha on the leads more than Tamika!! She just looking for more pity as she has been ever since that Reality show aired smh. And folk just keep falling for her game. She ain't no different than Latocha but she's somehow managed to make Latocha look like the devil and make herself look like an angel but I know better!!
