I did not know about the bus. It's better than taking a songtheaw and inhaling the carbon monoxide from the back. Grab taxi is a good choice too. Thank you for posting this info.

      Hello Veo Savan,
The buses aren't running at the moment due to Covid, Grab taxi is one of the best options at the moment. Hopefully the buses will be up and running soon.
Thank you for your comment! :)

      Hello,
Lovely to hear from you and thank you for your comment. As far as I know the buses aren't running at the moment due to Covid. Such a shame let's hope things get back to normal sometime soon. Stay safe and well no matter what part of the world you live in! :)

Thank you for this video! My husband and I will be making our way to Chiang mai ending of this year! Will be trying this out. Such a smart way to travel without spending loads on taxis plus you get to see a bit of the city for a fairly cheap price! Thanks again.

      Hello Britny,
I'm so glad you are visiting Chiang Mai and you found our video helpful. Songthauw (red bus) are another economical and fun way to get around. They are a shared ride which you flag down and cost 30 Baht each within central Chiang Mai. Make sure to have a nearby landmark in mind as some drivers don't read maps. Grab taxi is good if you are in a hurry and reasonable. Chiang Mai can get choked with traffic so do keep that in mind when getting across the city. Have a great trip and thank you for your comment. :)

Please make a video on the yellow route! I'm hopefully coming soon and will be staying somewhere near the Old cultural centre and would like to know where to stop. From the route map, it does have a stop near the centre. Thanks for all your useful vids.

      Hello Jeanctc,
Thank you for your comment, I'm glad you found my video helpful. :)
In the video l took the yellow route back to the Airport from Taphae Gate in the old city other than that the routes are almost identical.
I will try to take another with more detail around the Old Cultural Center sometime soon. :)

      Hello Phillip,
Here is the link to the bus time table and route. One thing to consider is that traffic can sometimes make the bus run a little late. Hope this helps and thank you for your comment. :)
