I'm Dr. Rebecca Spelman. I'm a HCPC registered psychologist in the UK. My reason for doing this interview with Julia is because I listened to the phone call that Julia had with Operation Grange and was struck by how genuine Julia sounds in her voice and how low empathy the police officer from Operation Grange was towards her. It appears that Julia is being honest as far as she believes her story to be true. I reached out to Julia to offer a space which can be as safe as possible for her to tell her life story in a chronological order. Rather than putting this interview on my own CZcams Channel, I have asked Shaun to put this on his channel so that the story reaches a wider audience. My intention for this interview is to facilitate Julia in being able to tell her narrative in a really safe online space which I feel I am capable of providing as a qualified and very experienced psychologist who works with significant trauma. I will be encouraging Julia not to read the CZcams comments as she tells her story so that she is protected as much as possible from comments from the public so that she can focus on telling her story.
The interview will involve me using my skills to facilitate Julia in being able to tell her story and I will offer some perspective in relation to my knowledge and experience treating trauma, trauma memories and give some information to the audience about what I feel may be true in relation to this story. I can also share with the audience how trauma memories work and comment on the narrative that Julia is presenting. I believe because of my trauma work experience I can provide a space that's really safe for Julia to talk about some pretty horrific trauma that she's been through that she's never been able to talk about in public before. I hope that by helping Julia share her story further that more justice can be done in regards to her situation.
I feel that it is really unfair that the police officer who called Julia from Operation Grange did not speak to her in a compassionate and empathic way and regardless of whether she is Madeleine McCann or not, any individual who is reporting themselves as a missing person, who has gaps in their memory from childhood, who believes that they were not born into the household that they grew up in should be dealt with in a compassionate way and should not be threatened. I'm here to help Julia tell her story.

Having listened to the whole podcast. I've commented further down but you can get a normal ancestry dna test either with 23&Me or Ancestry. You do not need to have the McCann's involved. This would also have relatives on and normal dna tests results and trees have been used to solve murders and also find the identity of unidentified dead so it is very reliable. A dna test will tell you your ethnicity so that would be a big help with this. If people are serious about finding out the answers then do a normal dna test.

Even if she turns out to not be Maddy the girl still needs answers
And those answers start from coming from inside her home; not expecting a foreign police commissioner set up with respect to just one child; not expecting a foreign family that YOU chose to decide to say is yours to 1. Give you those answers or 2. Be responsible for proving you are NOT their child - and then dissing them all over social media & showing up at their child's vigil church service in another country...just to "ask them a question"....confront them in other words in front of their friends and family who are gathered there as well, why they won't comply with your request?.....That is ludicrous. That in itself shows zero disregard for boundaries. It's not defense of the Mccanns; it's called boundaries....Hire an attorney to work out your shit with your DNA questions first and foremost with the parents on your birth certificate, if they won't comply, as you allege... and then look to others if it comes back negative; that you're really not their family.. .and if you don't have enough self- responsibility that you can't do that/won't do that, well, stop with the drama on the internet, go to your therapy like other trauma victims do to piece their lives and memories back together; as you were advised to do, and move on.

Dr. Becky Spelman is right on, I am 72 and my personality split at 3-4 years old, I am very familiar with the fragmented memories and tremendous pain associated! I've been following Julia's story since she came out publicly and also know admin from Madeleine McCann groups from where julia had joined around the same time she had her flashbacks and contacted operation grange.
Julia said she joined because she wanted to look at information in the groups she never spoke to anyone to help her there is a ex metropolitan police officer as admin in one of the groups members available to help julia but she never said a word.
Then the famous American Persian medium fia johannson found out about julia and got her claws into julia,julia was made up laughing,smiling,free holiday to America went on the dr Phil show etc.
Soon as julia took that 23 and me dna test and fia filmed the whole thing and the results came back that she's 100% Eastern European things started to go downhill julia kicked off that the police was called fia went live and filmed julia outside with the police telling them that fia had basically kidnapped her and wouldn't let her out.
Fia had enough and took julia to the airport to go back to Poland.
2023 julia done a live video from her apartment she told her followers that she was going to do her own dna test then weeks later someone on another live asked her what was the results her answer was she got the results but had to figure out how to say it because she would be in danger and would not be good for her because her bones are dying making out she has some kind of illness.
Why would julia be in danger ?
Julia knows she isn't madeleine or any other missing child she has mental health issues that need to be dealt with.
Operation grange have most probably spoken to Julia's family and the Polish police she's also pretended to be other missing children.
Julia said she has no photographs of herself as a baby that's a huge lie in 2022 I seen those baby photos which have been shared over social media before julia put them onto private only on her Facebook account.
There's photographs of her under the age of 3 with her Polish biological mother.
Anyone who cares for julia should get her help not feed her what she wants to hear it will make her even worse.
Im glad Julia has support, I’m confident that the Truth will come out, in a compassionate manner! Operation Grange is under great suspicion- did you listen to her phone conversation with the policeman, very unprofessional! This whole case is bullshit from beginning to end! So you say, Operation Grange “most probably” spoke to Julia’s parents! That’s an assumption, and if they did, let’s see their reports! They are happy to receive funding, let’s see the results of their work, the public has paid for it! Millions of dollars spent, and now they say Maddy was dead before it even happened, or was reported? It’s been quite the cash cow for this operation and investigators! It would be an act of compassionate Grace to do the DNA matchup test, and get some closure for Julia, and it wouldn’t cost the “supposed authorities” a penny! Explain to me the harm of getting a legitimate matchup test? It clears everyone, or maybe it doesn’t? After Jimmy Saville’s reign of terror and the fact that the police covered for him for years, they are Suspect to me!

Julia went to the police station but they took a dna sample now why did they do that?

Yes operation grange are a scam even peter bleksley said it was only started to keep the parents happy.
Operation grange know madeleine is dead the parents have been protected from the UK government since 4th may 2007.
Shaun didn't need julia to tell us operation grange are corrupt we already know in the madeleine McCann groups and colin Sutton told us.

I was disconnected from my mother, and 15 years later was introduced to a woman and I happened to smell her and within seconds realized who she was! She was not at all like I imagined her to be! The olfactory sense is one of the most powerful memories that we have! You will come to know everything as your Soul let’s you put it together! You were shattered, blow’n away, quite early in life! The fact that you have survived it all is extraordinary! I think you will discover who you are and grow into an amazing and insightful healer!

They've already offered (her real parents); they've shown her her pictures of babyhood (Julia posted them on Instagram), she has her birth certificate - how do you think she was able to get a passport to travel to the US and UK....she has trauma from childhood ok....thousands/no, millions of people do, but how does that make the Mccanns and operation Grange responsible for her life's problems???!!!

Answer me this, how would denial of a DNA matchup test hurt anyone, particularly when $16Million has been spent on this investigation, which yielded nothing? If the police and McCanns know for certain that Maddy is dead, then why do they still get funded? Unfortunately, past the smokescreen, the questions being raised here have nothing to do with compassion; it's not about compassion at all... it's about logistics. The British taxpayers should be responsible for paying for a polish citizen's DNA test to "prove" whether she is Maddie McCann - as she "believes" she is- or not - when she has not even provided the basic proof that she never naturally was born into her own family in Poland, by providing that DNA result? No, if operation Grange's money is up for grabs, to be spent under pressure of social media demands or personal needs of individuals with no proven connections to their mandate, etc, then there's plenty of British missing children who deserve to have those funds allocated to the searches for them, victims of SA, Star's, and domestic abuse who need intense therapy which they otherwise don't have the means to have it, that's all.
Julia has her own family, whether she likes them or not, who has supported her in her mental health journey, her own municipality and country where she is citizen, with services to support her needs.
Just as I did, as a victim, in my own country.
The world didn't need to know the recovery of my memories, play by play; my story - and if they did hear them, it certainly wouldn't have helped my recovery, that is sure, and none of this social media stuff is helping her one iota. It is factually hurting her, because at the end of the day, she has to walk the street, and like it or not, people judge - and her name - 3 of them she uses actually, and her face, and her threats of suing her mother, Dr Fia, that she's no going anywhere, if operation Grange wants to get rid of her they'll have to kill her, they "threatened" when she showed up in another country to a church vigil the Mccanns were going to be at in honour of their missing child, to confront them there, rather than hiring an attorney to institute communications like any normal person would do under such circumstances -:are all associated with her face and out there in the internet - not because of malicious press - or her "non-supporters" being mean, because SHE posted those live feeds. The world is a tough enough place to live in at the best of times, but logic is logic and there's zero logic to this at all. that's all.

She does not have the colobama that Maddie had. I know she said in part 1 that she has it, but it faded. These do not fade with age! She took the DNA test that showed only Polish -east european- roots.

I really feel anxious for Julias safety once a dna test is done and its positive to Maddie… its gonna open up a mass of questions and high end people will do anything to keep their names out of what ever happened….. this is so much bigger than what we all understand.
Yes. My mother was pursued and punished even whilst dying from cancer by this sinister group. Treated as a lunatic...of course...but spoke about the abuse. I think julia is telling her truth.
Yes. I guess this is a sad reality. But she is strong enough to start fighting a war than none of us can fully understand.

Ok something don’t add up with this girl Madeline had a big distinct mark in her right eye we all know that everyone’s eyes are unique so why this girl don’t have this unique mark ? it’s clear she is not her !!! show us all a photo of Madeleine right eye and this girl and you all will see what I mean

Part 1 shows her memory of having a patch on her eye, that's all she remembers. She had been told a big but her eyeball. She does have a mark, just less. Laser surgery could be a possibility. Coincidences? That's what she is pointing out, how can these coincidences keep adding up?

I’m lucky I turned out ok but suffer severe depression at times….i functioned and excelled but the scar never leaves you.🙏 I did use alcohol and cannabis..never went to harder drugs but maintained strong morals, boundaries and struggle with trust and anxiety. I also don’t use alcohol anymore and seldom cannibis. I’m thankful🙏❤️
🤗 same here... I had a traumatic childhood at the hands of my Mom, but thank God my Grandparents took me and raised me long enough that I was well adjusted. Graduated, did some college,and always had well paying office positions. It wasn't until 21 that I lost my Pop Pop and started self medicating w/heroin. BUT I did get clean (7 yrs ago this Aug. 5th) went back to work in an array of clerical/ administrative positions. I now work in registration at a hospital, and love the rewards of helping others daily. It's wonderful to see us survivors not only going on to live productive lives, but to thrive. ❤
I totally believe Julia’s story and understand her wanting to find out who her birth parents are but the people who know the truth need to tell her. I would imagine it’s probably not the McCanns but the could at least put her mind to rest.

Whatever the story is why mccanns are not running to provide their dna in a hope that this may be Maddie, despite any facts any suggestions, speculations, if I was a grieving mother this would be the first thing on my mind

A mother would instinctively know her daughter even this many years later. I doubt the Mccanns want the added stress and publicity.
Why are people putting all this pressure on the Mcann’s instead of Julia’s parents? Leave the Mcann’s out of this until it’s first at least proven that Julia’s parents aren’t her biological parents. This circus is crazy.

That same police officer wa on another podcast and actually stated that he thinks she's mentally deranged.. He also insinuated that Julia had the DNA done.
We all heard what he said and thought last week. If he doesn’t have a medical degree pertinent than he has no right to even express that view. That leaves him open to slander. Also, he blatantly said they would not be pursuing a DNA test to Julia, yet is lying to another podcast. Throwing more spammers into the works for to muddy the waters and confusion. Disgusting, lying police. They are covering up fr something g and someone.

As far as I can see the fact that the McCanns are aware that this young woman exists, has been through such terrible ordeals, and only wants one thing from them which they could easily provide, but wont makes them more uncaring and unworthy than they were that night in Portugal.

The first issue is whether she is the biological child of her own parents - and before she goes around continuing to cry to the world that the Mccanns and/or operation Grange won't help her prove she's Madeleine....or not....She should be proving to the world that she is NOT the child her parents have claimed she is by getting tested there, period. If it proves she's their biological kid, that ends that. If it doesn't, then she has leg to stand on by having her DNA compared to other DNA in the world bank to find familial matches.
Her parents won't do it? That's not the Mccanns problem - that's her problem. Hire a lawyer and go to court against them already to get what she says she needs - and substantiate what she is telling the world - that she is not their child, instead of crying to the world about how the Mccanns and operation Grange are treating her.... she's been at this for a number of years, and there comes a point in time she has to take self responsibility to PROVE who she's not, before going around saying she thinks she's someone else, but those bad people and their police won't help me prove me I'm not...backwards....upside down, inside out and beyond reason to every average person following this.

I’m really confused. I thought they confirmed she wasn’t Madeleine when she went to the USA with that Dr. Fia Johnson (not sure what kind of doctor she was 😂). I do know Julia posted photo comparisons of Gerry and Kate and herself. I can’t see any resemblance at all. Madeleine McCann looked like her grandmother Eileen McCann, you only have to google her to see the resemblance. Julia looks like her mother, she posted a picture of her, and now it’s taken down I think.

First off, if people had looked into the Madeleine case they would know that there was no signs of an intruder, anyone coming in at all. So many things lean to that she is already dead. And then theres all the picture comparisons that doesn’t look much similar to her at all. Only one is Gerry.
If you chose photos from certain angles with same expressions you could look like many people. Her birth parents looks a lot like her actually, look at her mom. Madeleines eyes had some kind of spark, it’s just recognizable in all the different photos and Im not even mentioning the eye condition. And she had more narrow lips like Kate.
And with J, she has a very typical slavic look which Madeleine didn’t.
I remember the things you mentioned yes. The gofund me, that Gofundme stopped and took the money that had come in already and she was furious. I could go on and on, but I’ll stop. I just hope this can all be sorted out before it blows into something huge and then crashes like it eventually will.
About the things you mentioned, she has said that there was never any dna test on dr phil or any other conclusive test, and that she didn’t applogize publicly like that. Only that she said she shouldn’t have made an instagram account called IamMadeleineMccann or IamMadeleine. (I can’t remember what it was called. )

In the early days of Maddie's disappearance I read twice in the msm that she was IVF.........nothing has been said about this since...........look at Kates's neck.......huge with an adam's apple...........m/f?Krystian21 says she was taken 2 weeks before...........so they knew......and that must have been the reason she stood still and said 'She's been taken'.........................she was sold.........What happened to her irrespective of who her parents are.....should be looked into, and this fact should be made a criminal investigation..........she knows who was there FFs....................I wish Julia justice truth and love xxand many many blessings........she is beautiful, intelligent and strong........a warrior woman.......xxx
@ marthacochrane484 ....thats correct all 3 x kids were via IVF. Portuguese media outlet reported that Madeleine was not Gerry McCann's child though & that her DNA wldnt match the twins.
McCann's threatened to sue the media outlet but they stood by their reporting stating their source was solid. Looks like someone from FFS (or whatever the forensic body was in Birmingham) may have leaked it, who knows McCanns had a year to sue don't think they did.
They said they'd sue anyone who said anything against them. They sued the police officer who thght they were involved & won. However, that decision got overturned at the Supreme Court in Portugal.
If not IVF, have read during some of my own invesitgations, Madelaine allegedly was made in a lab for perfect genetics. Her father being in the club was into that and more.

Her comparison photos are of her pulling the same expressions, the features aren’t the same. She looks just like her polish parents. It’s so easy to join ancestry and do a DNA test through them, I did it, it cost me £79. She had the money to fly to Leicester to attend the vigil so she can afford an ancestry DNA which would map her ethnicity. She could’ve done this before ever going public with her “story” and saving herself any hate she’s got. It’s baffling to me how many people are believing this
@@Shannonmarieclarke I disagree, I think there are a number of similarities. Despite this, a DNA test would prove it, to which she has been willing to do. That would be the end of the subject if it was allowed. Regardless of whether she is or is not, the whole way this has been handled has been done terribly, and shows that something nefarious is underlying. That fact that she is so willing to accept that she is or is not Maddie and just wants the truth is telling. Why won't her biological parents do a DNA test? Why has she been noted as having two different blood groups.? Why does she have the same markings on her body as Maddie? And lets not mention her flashbacks, as someone who has suffered similar, I believe her trauma. She also states that she has memories that contain deeper truths to which she is not prepared to state publicly and will only share them in an official investigation. I do not blame her, on that! I find it extremely interesting that investigators are not willing to look into it further or provide her with the avenues, knowledge and proof that she is not Maddie. Just to say she is not, is not proof. I truly hope that she gets the truth she deserves.

I honestly think she's just a young girl that's suffered trauma as a child and grew up watching the media around the Madeline McCann case, I really don't think she's Madeline but does need help.

The way Julia was spoken to by that Police man is exactly the tone and attitude I experienced when trying to report CSA to police, they are so dismissive with no empathy.
This is an interview with Becky Spelman. There is virtually no Julia content, so very difficult to either beleive or disbeleive her story on such content.
Does Julia know about a condition known as a Chimera twin? It might explain why she could actually have 2 different blood types. If they used Madelaine's known blood type to rule Julia out, (and ignore her DNA test) it might be because no one ever knew Madelaine had 2 different blood types! Or perhaps even 2 separate DNA.
With Julia’s memory, it explains the blood that was found in the room. She was SA before she was abducted not killed.
Doesn't explain the alert of the cadaver dog, though - does it?

Not only has that idea been thoroughly investigated, and dismissed, by the police and other researchers, don't forget that the dogs alerted in many other places associated with the McCanns, too - their hired car, its keys, some of their clothes, Kate's bible, cuddlecat...etc
@@soundaffects8352 Did you know a cadaver dog can smell corpse that had been in a grave only for a short time, 40 years prior? These dogs are said to be reliable as well as unreliable - and I believe it's due to that reason.
All their findings are important.
But when a person has claimed to be the child, that sort of fact that it could be someone else's corpse should be considered. The fact it's a hire car, also leaves it open to being someone else's corpse. Not saying it is, we just have to consider it.
As far as blood, it's on personal clothing, shows to be of interest, that points it to being about the individuals they are looking into. But I am sure, if one of the blood sniffing dogs came to my house, they would have similar finds. Children get hurt. Children are often picked up by mum, cleaned up by mum, when they are injured or have bleeding noses. So this can't be ruled out. Hence again, why the dogs are considered reliable, as well as unreliable.
Hence why the findng cannot be used in court. Cadaver can only be used in court if it has other evidence to go with it.
In the list of 17 hits from the dogs, I never saw a reference to a hit on their bible. Is their proof of this actual fact, or is this something that has become a claim? It was not on the list, so I am wondering where this suddenly became part of the equation.... And is the bible theirs, or just a bible that sits in the rental apartment?

Madeleine's coloboma is very pronounced and I can't even make out a coloboma in Julia's eyes. She have very slight discolouration and nothing as pronounced as what Madeleine McCann had. Remember coloboma does not fade or go away.

How can you interview and concur with the language expert who believes the parents are responsibly for Madeleine's death and then have someone claiming to be Madeleine on your channel? Former Met Detective Jon Wedger has also been interviewed by you and you have something of an ongoing connection. He says Julia has been regularly contacting him and he feels that she may be a little but mentally/emotionally unstable. You can't keep hitting everything from all sides of the coin if you want credible expert interviews to be taken seriously?
