There just havent been many good enjoyable protoss lately, sure die Mauer can be interesting to see hold the most bloody scrappy pushes from the highest players, but really we all just want Zest back, and PartinG (how's he doing by the way?), not just the yolo toss but balls so big they make you flinch on sight alone

Nightmare gave Buyn Nightmares. Tonight, he is gonna dream of hidden enemy bases, planetaries getting sieged while his army is nearby and still not able to drive the enemy away and failed timing builds. I hope there is no lasting emotional damage and he recovers soon.

One thing lately that sort of bothers me is the refusal to make a few tempests in the late game when Terran is on range liberators. It's like Protoss players at the pro level have collectively decided that it's just not worth it or something, even though tempests are basically the only practical counter once the range lib count gets too high for stalkers.
Agreed but practical maybe isn't the right term. They're super awkward to control and eat up a ton of cash and supply. especially since he already had disrupters, colossus, and storms, which is already tricky

2nd game. Nightmare caught Byun. A mid game old school "4 gate strat." Time attack at door, keep pressure, prevent expo to any tech up. If Byun got the expo, 15 mules there then he's back in it.

imagine if HT had their feed back and storm combined into 1 spell, that did its damage immediately, they had a strong long range auto attack, could be healed, moved faster, were cheaper, could 1 shot units from 2 screens away went invisible, and oh yea they could drop a literal fucking nuke. but no tell me how protoss is op

That planetary repair is costing Byun too much. Bullets and laser shots are free, but repairs are not.

Another liberator + viking match, same step, move forward liberator one after another can see already toss will spend twice the resource to try. Liberator 1 shot zealot is incredibly imbalance, no other other unit like terran unit. Disruptor is just easily snipe. 3 liberator can wipe 12 zealot in 4 seconds. Thats fastest 1200 mineral drain
What? Libs do 75 dmg base and +5 per upgrade, bringing it to 90dmg at +3 attack.
Zealots have 100hp, 1 base armor and 50 shields. Where is the one shot coming from? Do you even check things before you complain about them?

Zerg > Terran > Protoss. Getting boring.
Why are Protoss always the ones that come up with new strategies? And I mean ALWAYS. I swear that Terrans play the same build in 90% of the games, and then they do a cyclone all in in 10% of the cases these days.
To be fair, Protoss has the most unit types and the widest available tech tree early. Also, they never seem to win anything, so they have to try something new.
@@joshgoulash4889 The real reason why terrans never come up with anything new is because MMM is so strong and dominating that it's counter-productive to use anything else. Not to mention that those units pretty much never got any nerfs or changes.

Terran get chokeholded by the 1/1/1 and needing more gas for their production than others
Protoss can do just about whatever they want and can chrono their tech'd buildings
Zerg.. well zerg just exist, it's either defensive roaches, economy, or have to go to the very end of their tech tree
@@PJOZeus That's another way of saying that protoss has no universally reliable composition like MMM that can take on anything. The fact that they NEED the variation is not an advantage. And when the enemy figures it out early it's already a disadvantage.
But MMM always has the potential to defeat anything and often makes insane comebacks even when protoss gains an advantage and bigger army.
@Leonhart_93 Honestly, the best way to nerf mmm without making it unviable is to weaken medivacs healing or speed to make it a less catch all speed damage and tankiness.
Honestly I'm extremely bored of TvP at this point. P is just so weak in comparison it's not even interesting to watch.
