You have a water flow problem. That rinse is supposed to rinse water through the outlet nipppes on the front as it flushes the brewers. Youra isn't allow water through. There is a tap valve on some models that needs to be opened. If not yours was probably used without a water filter and is caked up with limescale

ever figure out the clean cycle thing ? you potentially need to tell the machine you dont have the milk unit to get further.
