Love how it looks like she was already there and you were clearing away a fog to reveal her.
A true art indeed
Wow this exact representation...
What a beautiful way of describing it
This comment reminds me of that thing michelangelo said about every block of stone containing a statue inside, just waiting to be discovered.
Jojo ?
I think I'm already qualified to do portraits now!
CZcams: " *Let me help you rephrase that* "
This video isn't beloned to this youtuber
Art isn't about who pisses further, it's about enjoying the progress.
Let me see your portraits? I'm no artist but a great appreciator
@@user-iw3ow4yf2m where is this from then?

すっごい写真みたいな絵も素敵だと思うけどこういう絵らしさが残ってるラフな絵の方が好き
I love the way you sketch the drawing, I’ve never seen this technique before
ShiftinDobermans it’s all about building up layers when it comes to sketching.
James Tyler that’s probably more for painting although artists definitely would use that technique as it works as a technique
Drawing is about that. Painting, sculpting, architecture.
@@lopeztangarakevinjosue2290 architecture? Not all artists design buildings lol
@@ryy1704 Faces are as complex as buildings though. You have to deal with a hierarchy of shapes and three dimensional forms, as well as planes at different angles. Drawing is as much about architecture as it is about sculpting
That was very instructive. Everything that I picked out that you had at the wrong angle, or wrong size, you fixed as you worked up from your sketch, pushing here, and pulling a little there. It’s a great lesson in starting fearlessly, and working out the details later. Thanks.
Yeah, it's asking a lot to pump out a drawing looking perfect from the beginning. You put down marks, work out your midtones and then flush out shadows and highlights. There are a lot of corrections. I think if more beginners saw this, they would be less afraid to get started.
"I should study his technique to see how I stack up."
*Watches Video*
"Ah I see, his technique is being better than me"
I was definitely not expecting this answer, that cracked me up 😂😂
Lol. . .
Same thoughts exactly. . .
HAAHAHAHA LOL
@@mustang4636 Who really is worthy in this world?
@@mustang4636 Idk if this is a joke, but the og comment was joking dude
I love the way you started the face outline then blended, I always found it easier to erase the shades to get a softer outline and match the face shape! This could speed up my portraits, thank you for sharing!
I love the whole process, but the way you started drawing is spectacular.
Painting is quite persevering.
I am amazed that you can get results.
That’s gotta be one of the best sketch+realism portraits I’ve ever seen. Great work man.
Пока смотрела влюбилась. Эта картина сводит с ума, хочется смотреть и смотреть. Завораживает
You notice how he never spends a lot of time in one place
It's because its a time lapse video ^^
@@DanielPerez-jz8jk He knows.
@@ethan2163 Does he, really?
Anyone with a brain would know this is a time-lapse video
I think he means that he never works on a part for too long then works on another part after spending a while working on something. Then he goes back to that part after spending time on others.
I think it's because he might overwork one part which would then ruin the drawing.
Exactly..i kinda sketch myself and watch lots of sketching videos . What he basically does is avoid spending a lot of time on 1 part so that he doesn't overdo it or just to shift perspective and gain a bigger picture from time to time coz a common mistake lots of beginners do is assiduously sketch just an eye or nose for so long and in the end realise that it is a bit tilted or farther or smaller wrt to the proportion..
I love the way you started from the shadow first, one of my favorite way when i drawing.

Art Thiefs: Can you imagine putting effort in art
Tracers: Can you imagine being original
Artist: *Can you imagine.*
Don't want to ruin your comment because what you said is wholly true, but to some beginners who are maybe reading this, I just want to say that tracing isn't a bad thing. Quite the contrary in fact. It can help you with things you struggle with (like hands or folds or hair, etc.) and you can slowly improve through tracing, then moving on to copying and then one day you can do it without any help. The important thing when tracing and copying is just: DON'T GO AROUND SAYING IT'S YOUR ART AND CREDIT THE ORIGINAL ARTIST! You can of course also learn by drawing what you see in the real world and slowly improve, but everyone has their own way, so... yeah. Okay, I'm done.
@@FanisyFreak Tracing might be a good thing for such complicated detailes espeically when you're in rush. But it would be a good thing to practice and study without the use of it, afterall its the process not the result. But in marketing world, you just want do it in efficient, fast way, why not just print it, you can do all the techniques all you want, be clever, and work smart. But nothing beats pure skill, and hardwork.
Just as imagine going to a full year course of drawing an anatomy in 2 hours just to get beaten by a trace of 30 mins.
Bearly Alive u can trace shit as much as you want. Look at Pop-Art. As long as you’re expressing stuff ... idk. This guy is unbelievably talented but like not creative at all. He’s just drawing a picture to look as close to the photo as possible. That Isn’t a new thing. But still cool vid tho
@@FanisyFreak Making art has nothing to do with any technical talent whatsoever. You go back 500 years and some of the most famous artist such as Raphael and Carravagio were using optical devices to create what we now consider the greatest art in western civilization. All that matters is the end result. That is why photography displaced painting. Painting will make a comeback.
@@FanisyFreak Sounds like a lot of excuses from an unoriginal f***
This is beyond beautiful. You captured so much feeling, too.

Absolutamente incrível seu trabalho 👏
Respect to this true technique! refreshing to see, really, we're tired of those "lining cheaters" who call themselves portrait makers and artists.

He reduced the brows and added more shadow and blended it
Magic
He changed the whole structure of the face, it still looked flawless. If i attempted something like that, it would be a hot mess...
Perfectos dibujos, maravillosos . Magníficos artistas !!!!!!!
It is incredible when a "Drawing" is really achieved, and it is seen much further than the photograph on which we are basing ourselves, obtaining a fantastic, original work, where the intention of the copy is dwarfed and ceases to be important by giving it a new own value. Wow talent! Thank you for your work
Spectacular drawing skills! What a very beautiful lady
Really cool seeing you mould her into shape.
This is my fav portrait in your channel it's like you make someone beautiful even more beautiful
The shapes in the hair are just beautiful
I've been drawing for years and i don't even feel happy with my style, i'm so impressed on how amazing some people can be and how skilled they are, beautiful drawing

Amazing ..
I have ever seen this technique before. I am amazed by your technic 💙 thank you alot for sharing this to us.
Absolutely beautiful work. Even the shapes are beautiful by themselves.
The girl is very beautiful! Amazing artist!
Seeing it getting exact is the most satisfying moments.
Natural artistic style I loved it....

Incredible talent to create this; - something I've always enjoyed, & is on a quite different level of " art" from this, are the drawings from the geniuses at MAD magazine, capturing famous people's likenesses with such simple, minimal amount of drawing ( but not at all comparable to this) - I just wanted to raise awareness of those guys at MAD
Una maravilla su trabajo,Maestro, gracias por compartir su sabiduria
You are a real talent. Here in CZcams so many people are drawing, sketching, doing realistic portraits, but most of them are tracing the picture before or using grid method. Then they just shading like realistic. But your piece is the real art. Really love to watch it.

Brillant! absolutly brilliant, such talent!
You know he's a professional when he doesn't use The other hand to keep paper still and doesnt smudge literally everything
I think the paper is being held down by something
@@zerotwosixty7416 Its a joke
I think he's drawing vertically. Holding your paper while standing and drawing is the kinda tedious and would ruin your posture 😛 No one really does it.

Your magical reality is even better than reality, with your tangible imagination, a key to joy and true happiness! Some sketches are beautiful but not everything has the aura like that one
Very nice work! I would like to know, apart from the white pencil, and various erasers (kneaded, line and normal) did you also use white chalk/charcoal on the highlights?
