I'm currently studying a 12-week intensive course in digital marketing. Our final assessed piece is to create a brand guidelines project. My question is if you remember how you isolated the square Remode brand guidelines (that you're scrolling through in this video) to show up nicely on the wide-screen display of the PDF. I fear it was something in Adobe, which I don't have. But it looks really nice and gives the square 'page' of the guidelines some breathing room.

Kayla I like your video but I am wondering which app you use?
Could you please recommend the best way to get the branding side of things mocked-up? Where to get good mockups (buying or subscription?) and what can you do if you don’t have access to things like Adobe Photoshop. Are there any online mockup services you could recommend?
Great question! If you don't have Photoshop, Canva actually has a lot of great mockups templates. They have a free plan and a paid plan. They also recently added AI generation so I'm sure you can create some really nice images if you can't find exactly what you need.
I use Envato elements and Creative market to find paid mockup templates. You can also create your own in Photoshop but that does require a subscription. I hope that helps! :)

Hi! Newsletters are a great investment. I would create the newsletter in the same program you will send it in. I use Mailchimp but there are lots of great options out there. They even have templates you can use and customise. I hope that helps!
did you create it with illustrator?
No it is set up in InDesign 😊 I always like InDesign for templates but it is mostly personal preference.

Somebody plss tell me brand guidelines and brand book is same or not what's the difference???
Hi! I would say they are the same. A brand guide/brand book has a lot more information than for example a brand kit/style guide which are usually just one or a few pages. A brand guide tends to have sections that are more in depth - like messaging style, brand values etc. If anyone has a different experience, let me know! 🙌
