Five years before her boots were made for walkin' a less fetchingly attired Nancy Sinatra was content to let her sneakers do the walkin' while performing the 1957 Fats Domino song "I'm Walkin'".
Wow interesting and rare clip, nice of you to share it - I almost wouldn't recognize her in that get up - whoever wisely advised her to lighten her hair was on the right track ~ it's funny that she approaches Tommy Sands (at the end of the number) and then turns away from him. Nancy, like many performers, innocently did quite a few flop records before she Hit the charts hard with "These Boots are Made for Walkin" ~
I like it.... Thanks for posting... Whatever happened to ..... If you can't say something nice... Don't say anything at all! Keep your trap shut! Smiles!
a 21 year young Nancy Sinatra

When Lee Hazelwood started writing her songs and changed her image that she began making hits, and for the better of it.

I thought that as well, particularly near the end when the men were holding hands with each other on either side of her.
