Italy was united, but only the papal state remained independent.
@@Whiteack_Mapper no Rome like capital, no true successors of the Romans. it was more cool if Papal State was invaded by Italy
@@Christian_Sannino In fact, in the World War I video I made, Italy was divided and German puppet states were established. The Kingdom of Italy, established in this video, is also a German puppet state. The reason is that Italy betrayed the Germans in World War I. So Italy could not invade the papal state for this reason.
