I understand what you are saying but I walked away from a marriage because I felt hurt emotionally and the gospel calls us to follow Christ, not our emotions. It has done more damage to me and my family than it ever would have had I stayed. God says marriage is binding. The guilt and despair that follows is very real when you violate Godâs word. I do understand there are times divorce is permitted and makes sense. However, now many leave because they are unhappy. However, our commitment to Christ is to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and our neighbor as ourselves. I didnât do either in my case. Every sin does damage in some way because itâs against the will of God. Yes my husband was at fault for many things but I lacked the love Of God for him and gave up. It may seem right at the time but sin destroys.
This hits close to home. I have a 2 year long distance relationship and they were the best there is until my insecurities caught up to me and we became distant. We broke up this year in January and I tried to move on (my heart and mind were deciding it).. But something in my core being told me to hold on, to wait and to have courage and faith that things will be alright and that we will reconcile. This person is still in healing and is in self discovery. And I've been praying intensely to God for their enlightenment. In the process I started to heal and look for self-discovery, self-love and self-acceptance because I felt that I have unhealed trauma. This person made me realize that. He brought me closer to God and I almost did bring him too. I believe we do have a purpose why we met. I want to be his life partner and bring us closer to God. And although they are torn between two choices, I know one day we will heal, mature and reconcile. I'll keep the faith. I'll wait for that blessing. Amen! đđđ

I'm a muslim and I agree with what you've said in this video. I can relate to this topic as it's happening in my life right now. Whenever you felt stuck and you felt that you need to stay away from someone, but God wants you to stay because your purpose is not done yet with that person, God will always put that person back into your life. But once the purpose was completed, God may or may not separate you from that person whether you liked it or not. You just have to let go and come in peace within yourself, and be closer to God.
