We the exact same way. Every time I run a slower time than what I’ve expected my self to run, I tend to doubt myself but I’ve always had my coaches, teammates, and family members get me back on my feet. It’s frustrating to not run your best race every time but it’s just how it is with this sport. Anyways, Congratulations on getting on the podium!!!

being a former track runner of 7 years , i know the feeling. remind lexi that she is doing amazing but she has to worry more about the time and HER EFFORT, and not the place. it hurts but once you’re running to BEAT everyone else you lose your momentum. she’s doing so well, she’s got this.
It had nothing to do with the place. She’s upset that she ran a slower time than her normal time. She never cared about what she place as long as her times get better.
Alexa will always be on top bc of her passion! I literally watch every vlog and i just see it more and more

Have you been watching? Have you seen how many times she didn’t win and was not upset? She’s only upset because she feels she didn’t compete good. She ran slower than her normal time so in her head she didn’t do well. It has nothing to do with winning.
That’s completely normal for athletes. It’s ok to be competitive and it’s ok to want to win. I’m sure she understands she won’t win every race she just wants to run her best. She’s passionate about her craft and that’s amazing.
