  • Family adopt a 5 yr old girl but when she learns to speak english they discover the horrifying truth
Many Americans are turning to overseas adoption to fulfill their visions for their family. Although they have good intentions, they are guided by international adoption agencies to find children who need homes. One Ohio couple went through this process believing they had found a daughter who would complete their family. Little did they know she had a terrible secret.

It’s unfortunate that even doing this is rare bc too many selfish ppl keep the children how terrifying. That happens here in the US too where children are kidnapped from the concentration camps at the border and adopted by white families here as if they were abandoned. And they refuse to give back the children.

@norah ferraro - Since they love Nomita (not sure I'm hearing that correctly) and obviously want the best for her, the Davis family is free to subsidize her education back in Uganda as well as that of her siblings. That would be a real boon to the whole family. (So many places in Africa require families to pay for education themselves and even require uniforms. Although not expensive to us, this puts education out of reach to impoverished families and why the child's mother was willing to send her to America for her education.)

Someone who is not free cannot love someone Else, because all one can do is to use the other to fulfill one's needs. This is not love. The other person is not an object for you to deposit your projections and expectations, this is not love. When tou love, you really SEE the other person. You understand its a person, with Its own subjectivety , so you naturally understand that the other person needs space to develop her own world. Be responsable for your own happiness and be carefull, always ask yourself If you love or If you "need" because If you need, the field is opened for an abusive dependent relationship.

I bet they didn’t present it as a profit to the adoption agency but more like a donation. When you’re adopting you’re already predisposed to want to help abandoned children in need so it’s easy to tell these parents that the money is going to help other children. Other fees incurred are to the officials to pave the way for “saving” child in a corrupt government. I can see how it could be not as obvious a red flag as it seems.

“Unwanted” and “foster” or “orphan” are NOT the same thing. “Unwanted” implies every child in foster care or adoption centers isn’t loved and was abandoned or given up due to parental control. A child in the foster system or adoption centers could be orphaned because their parents passed, they could have loving parents that couldn’t afford to give them the life they wanted for the kid, maybe the kid was taken due to dangers from one parent and the other parent can’t handle caring for them alone. There are countless out-of-personal-control reasons kids and teens are foster children or orphans. And even the children who were “unwanted” by their birth parents AREN’T unwanted. They just need to find the person or people who want to give them a good life and love. “Unwanted” children do not exist. Sometimes it just takes time to find their forever home

@@providencefreedom5025 I don’t live in the USA (I’m Canadian), but who puts their kids in a box and makes them sit in a chair? There are plenty of parks, lakes and hiking trails everywhere. My kids just go across the street to the park or we take a 5 min drive to the beach. And they don’t need to wear masks outside, just when they’re in close contact with others in class. In many countries it’s common practice to wear a mask if you’re sick or during flu season. And the masks are also to protect the teachers, parents, and extended family. How terrible would it be if Covid spread quickly through schools and a bunch of grandparents started dying? You don’t wear masks for yourself, you wear them for those around you. Care about others and they will care about you too.

I'm NOT impressed with these people or any Americans who think they are raising some "poor, uneducated... (fill in the blank)" child from a Third World country as some kind of virtue signal. The agency is trash for this. The family is amazing for returning the child to her family. I am so happy the family has their child back.

    This is a beautiful couple.
They wanted to adopt a child who needed a home that they had to offer. Love, and nourishment. They're so wonderful they couldn't swallow the fact that the child did belong to her family.
We do learn they were the right tools to have the stop to such Agency who abducted children for business.
    God bless your family.

This is so sick. It’s horrific to do this to someone. No matter where they are from. I’m so glad this was a good outcome in the end. But what about others. It’s so wrong.
