I wish I could have seen Big Bopper Jr. before he passed. For a guy that didn't have any musical background, he sure did put on a good show.
His Dad didn't really either.By trade he was a radio DJ & I say that but not wanting to take anything away frpm this new venture. The Bopper was awesome & it saddened me they dug him up because of a stupid rumor.
It hurts not knowing how great Buddy would of been. He wrote so many great songs by age 22.
no kidding. In my mind he was the #1 singer songwriter in rock history in terms of being a trailblazer.
Sadly Jay joined his father some years back, and we can't be more grateful than to have him carry the legacy his father Big Bopper left us
RIP Big bopper Jr.
😢😭😢😭😢😭😢😭😢
He died
he's catching up with his father :)
I met Big bopper Junior in my hometown of Las Vegas New Mexico he was a nice man
0:53 Really man I Really wish meet person
61 years we lost 3 🌟's but their music lives forever. RIP
65 now
Wow the big bopper jr the double of his Dad he would have been proud of him ❤️
I agree despite Sr. being younger at that time.I think Jr. deserved that nite.He also had to be a witness to his being dug up from his grave for a 2nd autopsy.I remembered Jr 's reaction to seeing his dad & was amazed how well preserved he was.
I saw this show twice with these performers. Fabulous show. I believe Big Bopper IN THIS SHOW has passed in 2013. Too early - sad!
The Big Boppper died along with Buddy Holly, as well as Ritchie Valens.
@@dianemiller8969 No kidding......The man in the show who played The Big Bopper was who I was talking about. It is the BB's son.
God Jay looks just like his daddy and sounds just like him
My favorite is the Big Bopper RIP!
High quality tribute to these legends who left this planet way too soon.
Man I understand why My Dad loved this music and I LOVE IT AS WELL IT'S THE BEST
And someday they will all be back together happily💜
affirmative
I hope to see this show some day. Their Music Lives On. "And The Rest Is Rock 'n' Roll"
They should tribute the Big Bopper more. They made the Buddy Holly Story for Buddy, La Bamba for Ritchie Valens. No movies centered on J.P. Richardson aka The Big Bopper! That's kinda wrong!
I agree but is anyone of his family or friends still alive to tell details of his personal life? I think at rhis point it's too late. I would have loved to have seen a bio movie of his
Did you know that JP Richardson (The Big Bopper) is not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame?? Buddy is, Ritchie is.. Bopper is not. and it's so so wrong, he did some great stuff.
Grandson here .. we're still here with details but ...
There was a person who was gonna make a movie about him with some help from his son, but not sure what happened with that. I do agree though, they need to do a movie on Big Bopper’s life.
Wow this is like the real thing wait a min isn't that Ritchie Buddy the big Bopper....dammmm
The next day was. “The day the music began”. Scores of other musicians picked up where they left off & carried the torch through the sixty’s & seventy’s
I fell in love with buddy,Ritchie and big bopper thx to my dad 🎸😎 Being a big believer in the spirit world something tells me they are still together.
Great meeting you After Watsonville WDP and the greatest Honor was connecting with C, I, B, M and Donna. They are such warm and welcoming human beings. They turned a horrific tragedy through their faith, into a shared warm glow that embracing us all in the love and warmth of Ritchie's legacy of innocent times.(Oh John, I never shared that a couple days later we magically crossed path with Luis Valdez.
I cry for the music that they would've created. Rest in Peace.
Big fan of Richie Valens, can’t get over how much this guy is like him. Great job Ray Anthony!
You're joking, aren't you? He's nothing like RV! I think you may be thinking of the actor in the movie, not the real person.
Listening 2022 January 29th man I cried 😭
I wish someone would make a film based on that original tour leading into that fateful night.
Hey John Mueller... Jim here... Watsonville made me a lifetime fan, great time with Connie-Irma-Bob-Mario you and the guys and Donna. Hope to catch you guys soon,.... wish you would come to Tampa dude....
I loved it
GREAT!!!
Can’t believe they didn’t include cryin, waitin, hopin
El bip bopper 100 puntos chantily lace
Where's dion, he was part of the tour too lol. He was good friends with all three of em.
i think it was without dion because dion was not on the plane in 1959
Bruhh Waylon and Tommy Allsup were accusing him of lying about the events of the coin flip. Dion never really came out with his side of the story until 2009. I think Dion was telling the truth and that Waylon and Tommy used their deaths for attention and to start their own career. He was never even acknowledged in La Bamba or the buddy holly story.
it’s because he’s alive...
@@coopert1694 well yea but that doesn't mean he has no relevance to the story
@@escapereality8124 fair enough
Amazing
I wish they would be here in Tulsa
¿Donde esta el video completo de este concierto?

Is this in Branson where can I go see this
Jay actually passed away
Do they give autographs?
Ann L. Arnold two years late but yes after every show
THIS IMITATION OF RITCHIE VALENS IS TERRIBLE!!!
THE ONLY THING HE WAS CLOSE ON WAS THE GUITAR!!!
Wow...Ritchie wasnt good
Agree
yeah di said pol ti sere
Chantilly lace in the video was sang by the late son of the big bopper
1:59 they could’ve gotten a better Ritchie he’s not that good at singing tbh I could do better
Trop court...
they should ride off in a plane to solitify
Three giants left our planet to early.😢😢😢
Not bad at all. Better than those cheap Beatles tribute bands.
