- So incredibly lucky to have premiership Pie & Hero Nathan Murphy come on the pod and be unbelievably vulnerable, sharing his heartbreaking story about how a combined 11 concussions forced Nathan into retirement from football at age 24, only months after winning an AFL Premiership.

Heartbreaking to hear what Murph is going through but such a positive guy. Full respect. Premiership legend forever.
Hi Nathan. I'm 74 years a Magpie. Went to 8 grand finals in a row, all we got was a draw in 1977. Without you last year the Pies would NOT have made it to the Grand Final. Your first quarter was epic. You are a Collingwood legend, A premiership player. A brilliant, courageous player. A man who gave everything you had every time you played. You helped heal the pain from all the GFs (at least 10) we lost since 1959. Magpies owe a massive debt to you. I am so proud of you Nathan.
Amazing interview. Thanks for doing this Nathan, really miss you in the team mate. ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️
Your a Champion Murph and forever a ledgend on the Mighty CFC and of course a Premiership player. Its been a privilege watching you play and following your career. All the best moving Fwd Nathan and a speedy recovery to you. Hope to see you floating around the CFC in future 🖤🤍🖤👊👊👊🏆🏅💗xx
Always a legend in our eyes, Big Murph. Never forgotten, always will be a premiership player, what a great guy all round. Sad to see you go, but extremely happy you're dealing with your health which is most important.
Murph!! I thought exactly the same thing as Pendles did in the Granny when you went down, I thought we were stuffed. You really were that good.
I miss hes footy wizardry in our back line. Always a premiership player 🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤. My entire family loves him. Good luck to hes future endeavours.
All the best Murph - such a great fella and an absolute warrior on the field 🏆
I haď a severe head trauma 40 years ago and still to this day im sensative to light and sound. Both cause headaches.
Collingwood legend! It was a big loss for the club. Terrible hearing what he's still going through today.
Collingwood’s Glen Archer. Good luck with future endeavours Murph.
Dude ditch the bloody gambling sponsor. So gross
Really enjoyed this. Murph was and always will be a favourite player of mine and hearing what he was (and still is) going through breaks my heart. So great to see him laughing and looking back on his time with Collingwood with such affection.
I’d strongly encourage changing the title of this video - ‘Forced Retirement’ is completely inaccurate and it’s discussed several times that he made the choice to retire.
Also, gambling ads… really?? not cool Titch
I love the channel, Great content but I really can't believe you're promoting gambling in your last two videos. It's pretty obvious by the first comment that a lot of your fan base are kids
For a dude that's on near $500,000 a year, You obviously don't need the money.
Surely you can find a better product to promote.
Anyways great video as always.
Wonderful interview Tom. Well done.
Murph 😢
Nick Maxwell mark 2. Wasn’t fancy but made up for it with courage and determination. Good luck with future endeavours Murph.
Lmfao. Bloke comes in. Wins a flag. Dacks that BS no.1 pick Cadman. Then retires. Legend.

Got No Time For him
Day grand final a.m annalogue yesterday twilight or night grand final f.m digital tomorrow move forward afl 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Love the pod and hearing Murph speak, but you gotta ditch the gambling sponsor Titch. Gross promotion and ruins the intimacy of the pod
