For the circle I just go to the thrift store and find a solid bracelet.
They sell metal loops in a range of sizes at craft stores, too.

I love this project! You do a really good job teaching/explaining the steps with little tips. I bought alot of bells at DT around Christmas and I have tons of beads. (yeah, I've got a problem buying crafty things!)
