This is very real. I've seen enough grand openings/grand closings to know that "support us because we're black" does not work. We all want good customer service. I don't care if our skin is the same. Lean ordered fries and 2 hours later, still waiting. 🤣🤦🏽♀

I went with a friend to a Serbian restaurant in Czech and the exact thing happened. Friend was Serbian and ordered a pretty popular dish he had known, it was nothing like what he had expected. He tried to get it sent back, the cook came out and yelled at him for "not supporting Serbian culture". So we crossed the stress and got some Vietnamese BBQ instead.

In Malaysia, we have this slogan, "Melayu tolong Melayu", it means Malay people should help each other out and I can assure you, people who says that line are the snakes, they would rack up the prices and pretend that's the actual market value for the service they provide. If not the price, these snakes would do a half-ass job or even come in late, sometimes even months. I know, cause I survey/shop around for my contractors before I pick one to do a job for my house.

Growing up Asian in Atlanta I can honestly say this is one of the most surreal skits I’ve seen. A lot of ATL black owned restaurants have mad potential but they too fucking slow n mouth off at you for asking how much longer the food gonna take. But what you need to be doing is be serious about your career. Do your job, do it efficiently, quickly and do it well. Otherwise you're gonna go out of business.
