As someone who works at a ski resort... why don't you wear a helmet?
It’s usually the people that have never hit the ground that hard that don’t wear helmets. Just wait until they wipe out, they will be purchasing a helmet.
In Sweden you must wear helmets, they even let you borrow them for free cause its mandatory @@livjackson6460 👍
Eh for me who works at a resort I just don’t I wear a hat and my goggles no matter how many times I fall to me if I get hurt then at least it was doing something fun

What a lot of fun
I took my kids skiing for the first time. They are all skaters and took right to it easily. I, however, have skied before, fell off the ski lift and just got out of the hospital today after 11 nights. I literally tore all my butt tendons!🤦🏼♀

Can’t believe you still fit the game gear from 11 years ago lol how was that your first time?! Then again I picked wakeboarding up easy my first time
Skaters are used to balance and using edges. I took to skiing/snowblading pretty fast (preferred the shorter snowblades personally! Easier to control for me).

I really thought there would be a lot more snow there after such a snow winter!! ❄️ It's weird to see big patches there with no snow!!! You guys looked like you were having a blast!! My daughter and her fiance go skiing every weekend at Willamette pass here in Oregon!!

I don't get why so many americans don't wear helmets on the slopes. In Europe, almost everyone wears one, no matter if you are beginner or pro.

Honestly you should try skiing. It is very similar movement to skating! Also please please please rent a helmet next time. Especially being new to the sport it is extra critical :)
A beginner snowboarder should definitely wear a helmut. Especially when you rely on your body to make a living.
