He's probably just the tech holding it for when the clavisimbalumabangalang guy needs it. Cuz you know those people never carry their own instruments. 🥸
How I wish this were played slower- it's hauntingly beautiful when one has a chance to listen to the gorgeous melody and the hypnotic ground of this piece. Too often I'm afraid, especially in early music, virtuosos follow the mindset of, "I can play it this fast, so why not?"

The music starts a couple seconds before the video starts. The camera wanders all over the place and we see heads or hands…oh forget it. Music is to be heard, and the camera work only ruins it if watched. So I listen and all is wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
